Fat Bar Wide Lat Pull - 3 sets 12 reps
DD handle pulls - 3 sets 10 reps
Kettlebell one arm shrug - 88 for 3 sets 15 reps.
Supra Curls - 3 sets 10 reps
Hammer Curl - 2 sets 12 reps

This is where I got pissed off. It is fucking Tuesday night (I never train on Tuesday) and I am in here doing stupid shit that means nothing except getting me back to a point where I can go fuckin heavy again. You see this is what it is all about "going fucking heavy" This is why I can never make it past a few weeks of this stupid mobility bodybuilding crap. This stuff is pure horseshit. Unless there is a shit load of weight on the bar then who cares?
About this time I began to think about the past weekends seminar. During the weekend I heard about three stories about different Guru (Yoda what to be's) trainers. As to not piss me off any more, one of these stories dealt with one of these super Yoda's not being able to fucking squat 405. If this was not bad enough I know of three other Yoda's who also can't squat 400. This is why they are fucking Yoda's - they can only lift shit with their minds! Unreal!
My range continues..... I am now screaming mother fuckers while doing rice digs (ya I know.... real hard core Dave).
I was also told today of another Yoda story that really pissed me off. Is it that none of the fuckers have any Integrity? I have kept this crap to myself for along time but now it is my VIP customers who are bringing this shit to me. I view these customers as my friends. Don’t fuck with my friends. Sell them whatever products you want but do not fuck them with bullshit advice. Their training means more to them then any of you pussy Yoda’s will ever understand. If you do not think it will work, or are basing your advice on speculation then don’t write it. Stick with the facts! They deserve it.
I was also told that one of these super Yoda’s gave a seminar and said that Louie once called him and asked about some bench advice. So he told Louie what to do and then three months later Louie called to thank him because he put 60 pounds on his bench! I know this is total bullshit because I know Louie would never call this guy. I also know if it was true you would have read about it, as you have all the other people who helped him out. You see Louie thanks people for their help, when he gives them fucking credit in an article!
I am asked why I do not write more training articles (the tool box does not count). The reason is very simple. I have not broke a PR is some time so it is very apparent to me that I do not know shit and have not earned the right to share anything new. I have learned a shit load over the past few years and almost had a bench article ready last summer but I did not hit a PR in my meet. I was very close to a 90 pound PR, but close only means NOTHING! I have also learned a lot about Prehab and mobility but unless I can make it work (by getting to another meet) then it does not mean shit. It only means it might work. I have never and will never write about what might work. I write about what I know works and that is it.
In my world, success is quantifiable. My world does not use the Force or some other speculative bullshit in training. My world does not seek out special Gurus who have never lifted shit. My world is not about text book shit nobody understands. My world is about keeping it simple and lifting big weights. My world is not about band wagons, cults and groupies. My world is about calling each other out when things are not going right. My world is about being in the face honest when someone asks for advice. My world is about training with blood, sweat and tears. My world is about training to the breaking point. My world is about finding the edge and going right to hell to it and dangling one leg off because this is what it takes to me the best. My world is about going fucking heavy! My world is known as the Darkside. As in star wars we my loose in the end but we will kick some ass on the way! Fuckin Yoda’s
There are many people out there who give great advice, listen to them. For now I will keep the Guru names to myself. If this crap continues and I get anymore pissed off I will be more than happy to share the names.
They may read this and think I am a joke and disgree with all I write, but they can never take away my passion for big weights or the fact that I have lifted big weights.
