AKA known as bubonic plague or Black Death... basically wiped out much of humanity during the 14th century. When you look at it, it's a good thing America was only discovered 1 century later, or the poor original Americans would have been completely wiped (not that many of them actually survived the Colonists, though)

When people around here say that this bird-flu could be the next pandemic and compare it to the devastation caused by these plagues of yore, one can't but wonder...

EIG won't be very impressed with you comparing her to the bubonic plague lol but she does have a strange way of expressing herself. Its probably due to the fact that she has been brought up in a different culture.

I saw a program on TV a couple of years ago which suggested that the same genes which allowed some to survive the Plague also confer immunity to AIDS. If both parents have the genes then you could have full immunity to AIDS.

Yup..difference is.. im a breath of fresh air or a storm.. it's up to you..

there r ppl that make lemonaid and ppl that are just sour..

boards need all kinda characters... i find her to be flat.. a waste of space.. shes spent a lot of time before putting ppl down and then complained a lot..Has the "poor me syndrome"

i don't have any respect for anyone.. even in cyberspace.. who put's others down, to as far as i can tell, try to make themselves feel better...

I'm not better than her and i'm not saying i'm better than anyone else.. .. everyone has reasons for doing stuff

Yah that's it i didn't bring u down once.. in my post.. except to say i find you boring.. as i find people boring in my every day life...at times..

i'm not sure if you actually have friends or even go out of your house but when people intereact with one another in Real life.. we get along with some people, and we don't with others.. it's called life.. it doesn't mean we're jelous or insecure.. get over yourself hun...

I know there is no point in arguing with u, your always right.. sorry..

Thats true, a stronger resistance to HIV based upon European exposure to the bubonic plague.
Roughly 10% of Europeans are immune to HIV infection, that has to copies of the CCR5 delta32 gene from both parents. The resistance is greater with just one copy of the mutation.

the only bad thing about that is when someone quotes the person your ignoring you still see it in the new post....kinda defeats the purpose.

I'll give them the instruction:

Go to your profile

Under Miscellaneous

Click "Buddy/Ignore List"

Type the person you want to ignore ( that means the person Username)

ON the ignore list not on the buddy list ;)

buddy list would be on the left side and Ignore list on the right side

ONce you put the username of the person you want to ignore

Then you click "update Ignore list"
