A little something about drugs...(a sort of part 2 of a different thread)

you are right. the uniform controlled substance act of 1970 neatly (erroneously) divided potentially addictive dangerous drugs into five categories. schedule 1,2,3,4 and 5. schedule 1 having no therapeutic value in the u.s. lsd psylicibin heroin etc... schedule 2 high abuse potential include potent opioids like oxycodone morphine and amphetamines. schedule 3 have moderate to high potential for abuse these include lortab and other opioid\non opioid\ preparations. schedule 4 are low potential xanax valium....all the benzos and non narcotic analgesics like darvon. i have a theory if ethyl alcohol was unknown and it was discovered tomorrow it would be classified as a schedule 1 or 2. it certainly meets the current criteria. it has a high potential for abuse. it is psychologically and physically addictive. it is more physically addictive than heroin. withdrawals from alcohol can kill you. and yes alcoholism is a chronic progressive fatal disease. much much worse than drug addiction.

2) uh...no

What do you mean legality has nothing to do with it? I was answering your shitty question which was whether people who drink and then diss drug use are hypocrites. I don't think they are because alcohol is legal and drugs are not. What part of that has "nothing to do with it?"

"uh...no". Great, good one. judging from your picture, I'm actually impressed your meathead dumb ass could even articulate that much.

I belive that most commonly Rx'd amphetamines, including methamphetamine, fall under schedule III.

sorry but you are wrong. all TRUE amphetamines have been assigned a schedule 2. benzphetamine (didrex) is a 3. phetermine is a 4.

meathead dumbass...wow, Im impressed. shitty question? Thanks...
re-read my original post, slowly, then read your responses in post #2, and post #14. forget about the issues of legality, and morality.
I do humbly apologize for coming across a little bit curt, but the name calling is not necessary.

i love ef but i do notice a lot of name calling and unnecessary fault finding. i guess this site is chock full of cerebral and somatic narcissists that cannot take criticism, real or imagined.

been like that for a while. It is one of the reasons that I do not engage in any sort of debates or issues of morality (for the most part)
