A little overwhelmed

I know I'm going to get accused of being difficult, but I really must strongly disagree against a CKD diet.

It's complicated.

It's extremely restricting, especially to a newcomer.

It isn't particularly healthy.

It's mostly a quick fix to look good for a short time.

It's impossible to maintain on a long term basis.

This guy is looking for simple. And the first thing he needs to do is change his lifestyle. That's hard enough to do without piling on a convoluted diet program.

i agree.
also, there havent been any long term studies on it.
could be very toxic and harmful in the long run.
i wouldnt do it.

I looked at the CDK diet. Although it looks somewhat complicated to me, I looks like a very high fat diet in the beginning with low protien and no carbs. By the 6th. day it flip flops and the seventh would be a good day to enjoy rices/backed potatoes, and pastas. If I have misunderstood, someone correct me. However, I do believe that our bodies are about balance. I'm saying I don't know right now how to achieve that balance.

Here is waht I had to eat today:
2 ham egg and cheese crossaints from burger king 8am ET
2 servings of a craker topped cabbage casserole 4 pm
some water and diet pepsi
While the content is not the same, the amount is probably typical

to be honest the thing that rang my bell today, is I was throwing the baseball with my son for approx 45 min. I got so weak and jittery I was affraid I was going to fall out. I'm ashamed that I have let myself go this way.

lmao.

dude.... burger king??????????:o

Bro, the truth about all successful diet programs... eat less... and eat healthy.

There is no magic to it.

Weight Watchers has the best track record in the diet industry. Why? No magic... they tell you to eat less.

Cut out the fast food bro. That shit is loaded with all the counter-productive junk you DON'T need.Start making a trip to the grocery store and pick up some lean meats(chicken,Fish, lean red meats)and veggies(broccoli, green beans, califlower, etc).

Just some starting guidelines for a small base.

In the past I would eat junk food for lunch everyday (3 double cheeseburgers, Lg diet coke from McD's or 3 gorditas from Taco Bell). I got up to over 200 lbs...........I changed my eating habits (Boston Market chicken carver instead of BK, McD, JKiBox, etc.) and started drinking mostly water, and slowly started exercising.
Jumping rope, roller-blading, jogging. Nothing too drastic. My results served as motivation, and my self esteem improved. Just try to make a life-style change gradually, but I agree with most everyone else..........DIET is the key!

I've read these posts and have to admit I'm a bit overwhelmed

I would like input from veterans on how someone my age and physique should proceed.

I'm 36 yo, 5'10 and 245. My body fat % is around 35. Yes I'm a fatbody so please be nice. I try to work out and I don't see results or feel good and get discouraged so I'm asking where and how do I start.

Thanks.

I'm interested in both natural and AS. If all could help that would be great!

You should in no way consider AS at this time. First get your diet straight. As well as set up a structured lifting and cardio routine. After you get yourself in good cardiovascular shape with a fairly low bodyfat AS can be considered. Good luck
