These are my fave. I can't think of many better exercises than these for overall back thickness. I am closing in on 500 for 5 from just below the knee.

Thanks man, I've just been incognito for a bit. Honestly I've never had any problem coming off the floor. That's part of the reason I am doing so much rack work. I always seem to get stuck just above the knees, the 590 flew off the floor and then I pinned it on my quads for a sec before locking out.
We have fairly thin 45's at my gym, still I could barely get the collars on the ends and when I put it down one of them popped off and a couple of plated fell off that side.
