A challenging chore to start?.................

No, I was not grading the papers. I worked in the writing center as well as assisting other history majors on term papers. My writing skills are above average but still leave much to be desired.

Writing my skils uperb....yes?

Quality writing is a lot of mental work, I don't worry about it here. Had a college english professor who encouraged me to be a writer though. As you can plainly see, a lot has changed.

What part of Alaska are you in? I thought the AK meant Arkansas for awhile.

McDonald's puts powdered worms in their hamburgers and chicken nuggets.

So if you eat the chicken you are safe, eh?

It's a forum, so I tend to be pretty casual. If you were so inclined, I bet you could write very well. By no means, do you write poorly here. Just to clarify.

I'm from the "big city" in Alaska. Anchorage.

I think the Chicken McNuggets have "parts" and "stuff" in them. I dunno about Atlanta, sometimes he seems to be linked to the admin.

I heard there are 10 men for every woman in Alaska and most prefer their snowmobile. Dat true?

LOL! Haven't heard that one. But yes, there are more men here than women. Many prefer snowmachines, guns and beer to the women here (everywhere). Cannot say I blame them. Most women are perfectly awful. And up here, many don't shave, shower or even look remotely feminine.

Don't worry, I'm not in that category. So you can still take me to the Matrix 2 this weekend. ;)

Huh.....you might be OK!

Matrix 2 is disappointing some of the chaps, how about I bring my snowmobile, gun, and beer and we will hunt some vittles Alaskan style!

I'm at [email protected] waiting for a bikini shot. Oh wait, this is Alaska. How about a nice salmon fishing shot?

Okay, this weekend its the Matrix. Next weekend, I will take you hunting for whatever is your flavor. Admitidly, I am more of a fisherman. But have been known to hunt.

Actually do have some pics around here somewhere of me fishing. But I am afraid they will disappoint you, since I am neither in a bikini nor am I naked. But it was a good coho, so that should suffice.

As for the bikini shot... can we wait until I am done with the cutting cycle?

Consider it done! I'll get the tickets and pick you up at 7.

I also fish and look forward to the coho shot. Lets see, I think a caribou and a brown bear would make for good stories....and eating.

Had bear sausage the other day. Not bad actually, though a bit chewy. Could very well have been the way it was prepared. Have some friends who prefer bear meat in their tacos. Cannot give a report as to the taste, never tried it.

What I would like to hunt: Brown Bear, Caribou, Moose. Would someday like to go halibut fishing. Feel almost un-Alaskan not having gone.

Great stories and Alaska just seem to go together. Hunting trips are often full of adventure. All those unexpected variables, weather mostly. So long as you are prepared, you should be alright. And you know your limits. Gotta love those climbers who are inexperienced, but attempt Mt. McKinley anyway.

And now for the most important question... what kind of beer do you drink? Nothing rides on this, except the future of this "relationship." No pressure. ;)

Apologies for hijacking your thread.
