Relocate the babies to the yard. The mother will soon die and will aggressively defend her young, so you may want to kill her before your capture the spiderlings.

If you want to keep some young as display animals, you can keep them fed by letting a cut piece of fruit sit out in an open jar. The fruit will attract small fruit flies that you can capture by quickly covering the jar with a lid. Then refrigerate the fly jar for a few minutes to momentarily immobilize the flies long enough to transfer them by wing with tweezors to your spider enclosure.

Soon, your babies will molt and need houseflies, capturable in much the same manner.

You need to get some WD40 and blast them to a crisp....used to find them under the cement thingys that catch water from the gutters......Having a few hundred in your house isnt a good idea.

They're all still hangin out in the web. I could take them all out with a few shots of bug spray. Just seems so.......mean.

I mean the scorpions and cock roaches, hell, i kill them for fun. I've even euthanized three scorpions and sent them home to a couple friends. But spiders are cool. They eat bad bugs.

Are you in FL? I've had some weird bugs here. We used to have stickbug mating season in summer...there would be two attached and they covered the whole house...especially the windows at night if the lights were on...freaky! Scorpions sucked...had those for a year and wouldn't walk around barefoot at night. If I see a spider on the floor I cover it with an upsidedown glass, next day they're usually dead. If I see one on the wall, I just leave it alone.
