99% fat post workout on keto.......?.....?........?

Keep in mind, I'm after weight loss, not only fat loss-----I actually want to lose some muscle (yeah, its a girl thing for sure)

but, heres my Q------

On a keto diet, your body uses fat for energy, so it would be fine to eat only fat post workout correct? I usually have 1 tbs olive oil, 1 tbs flax seed oil with a couple cups of dark romaine lettuce, typically coming to only 1 carb----so theres very little protein, hardly any--is this ok to do? Or will this actually hurt fat loss?

I still get around 100 grams of protein a day---I'm trying to slim down my frame, and of course have a tight lean body

well - the protein post w.o would be severly hampered by the fat

Jen,

You are asking for catabolism with what you just described. Sure you may lose fat, but you will also lose ALOT of muscle, and i mean alot, and that is not what KETO is about. Your diet should consist of approx 50% fat, 45% protein, 5% carbs. It sounds to me like you need to bump your protein intake up, otherwise, what is the point of training?

On a KETO diet, the post workout meal is the most vital, and you need to take protein/carbs in your post workout meal.

Your post workout meal should have at least 30-50g of protein and 30-50g of carbs ( Dextrose preferably). Do not include these calories in your daily calorie total, because the post workout meal will be almost exclusively used by your body to replenish glycogen.
