I can't imagine how awful it would be to get so fat that your legs won't even support your weight. Jeez, there's no dignity left when he can't even fit into clothes and has to lay there naked with only a sheet for modesty. And the smell must be horrendous, if he can't walk then he can't go to the bathroom or bathe, so he's just wallowing in his own filth.
