Nope, never walked the plank myself. I just see how miserable the day to day lives of my married friends are. About 1 out of 6 actually seems happy with their marriage. Most of them tell me how much they wish they never did it. Also my mother divorced my father after 20 yrs-the very same month the house mortgage was paid off. He worked his ass off in a factory 20 yrs to pay for a house-only to get kicked out to rent an apartment. I learned from his mistakes so his suffrage wasn't in vain.

Yeah man. Unless you would be running test during your honeymoon, I'd say hold off on the cycle till after the honeymoon and get down to some good old fashioned hard work. Congratulations. I think.

I agree. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

If someone could give me just 1 reason how marriage benefits a male from a legal, or non legal perspective, my opinion might be swayed. And tax breaks don't cut it since your health insurance goes up as a couple.

Also, keep in mind that your sex life will cut in half after marriage. It will cut in half again after having kids. Woo-boy!!! Sign me up for that!!!! Not!

It's not like it's 1950 anymore where girls rarely have sex with men they aren't married to. Unless you're a choad, there's a decent supply of hos out there that will bang you in exchange for a few shots of booze.

Times have changed to the point that tradition is simply outdated. We're already at a 60% divorce rate-and oddly enough church going christians divorce rates are higher than non christian, non- church goers. So don't think God is gonna help you much either.

I really love how girls can wake up one day and decide they want more out of life after you just devoted x amount of years to making her happy. Then if you guilt trip them into staying, they just cheat on you out of resentment instead. By being married it gives them a $ excuse to do it even sooner.

I say call it off now before you really lose your ass. But hey, WTF do I know??? I'm just a single lonely guy with zero drama and plenty of time to eat, train, and fuck random hos almost 1/2 my age at will.
