6lb Hamburger, I tried to eat it, I failed - Pictorial with the Buddy Christ!!!!

New member
Ok, some of you may be new to this, but this is what i like to call a Pictorial with the Buddy Christ (see the movie Dogma for the origins of the Buddy Christ).

I was supposed to have a small group from another board at Denny's Beer Barrel Pub in Clearfield, PA for a gathering, some drinks, and 6lb burgers. I had a sign on top of the paper towel holder on the table announcing our presence -

http://www.crak600.com/OT_Meat/OT Meat 001.jpg

The Buddy Christ wasn't there for the burgers, which was clearly evident by what he wrote on the back of our sign -

http://www.crak600.com/OT_Meat/OT Meat 002.jpg

My gf decided to get the 2lb burger. Why she decided to do this I have no clue, but she wanted the burger. Here's my gf with the 2lb burger (I think Thomez was staring at her tits every time i wasn't looking :naughty: ) -

I guess I gotta try and eat this thing -

See the beer bottle? Does that give you any idea of just how damn big this thing is? Pictures do NOT do this burger justice, you have to see it in person.

We wanted to steal this sign off of the wall  -

http://www.crak600.com/OT_Meat/OT Meat 017.jpg

Buddy Christ wanted to see just how much of this I could eat and how fast. He decided to be our official time keeper -

http://www.crak600.com/OT_Meat/OT Meat 018.jpg

Buddy Christ wanted to inform us that he wasn't just here for our amusement, but in fact he was only here for the gang bang -

http://www.crak600.com/OT_Meat/OT Meat 019.jpg

They had these interesting cups that you could get strawberry dacquiris, mudslides, and a few other drinks in, and you got to keep the cup. My gf got a strawberry dacquiri and she kept saying that she had the "butt cup."

Uh oh, looks like someone shot a load in the "butt cup" -

It was me! I'll lick it out! -

http://www.crak600.com/OT_Meat/OT Meat 021.jpg

And now, the Buddy Christ is checking to see how good of a job I did -

http://www.crak600.com/OT_Meat/OT Meat 022.jpg

Oh :noes: !!!!!111one 30 minutes have gone by -

http://www.crak600.com/OT_Meat/OT Meat 023.jpg

http://www.crak600.com/OT_Meat/OT Meat 024.jpg

After 41 minutes, my stomach could not take any more. I did not even want to taste meat at this point and had easily eaten 12oz of meat, including bun and some fixings.

http://www.crak600.com/OT_Meat/OT Meat 025.jpg

Buddy Christ just had to rub it in. Bastard.

http://www.crak600.com/OT_Meat/OT Meat 026.jpg

What in the hell am I going to do with this burger now? Buddy Christ, any ideas?

http://www.crak600.com/OT_Meat/OT Meat 028.jpg

Good call Buddy Christ, good call.

Be careful Buddy Christ, you might fall down and get hurt!

http://www.crak600.com/OT_Meat/OT Meat 029.jpg

Well, time to go home. Must secure the leftovers in the back seat. Good thing I had a car seat to hold all this food -

http://www.crak600.com/OT_Meat/OT Meat 032.jpg

I'm going to have leftovers for a few days. I'm starting to get hungry now, so i might have to saw off part of that burger for breakfast.

Here's the place if anyone is interested - http://www.dennysbeerbarrelpub.com/

LMFAO!!!

I bet tuc could eat one of those. I could eat half if I were really stoned.

Pussy, I could have taken that beast down.

Well, maybe not.

i don't think i could've taken down the 2lb burger. guy at another table near us tried and he couldn't do it in an hour. keep in mind, the 2lb burger is 2lbs BEFORE the bun, lettuce, cheeze, onions, tomatoes, pickles, peppers, ketchup, mustard, and mayonase. the 6lb burger is actually 9 or 11lbs total. unfucking real.

did u do a shot of vodka with your burger breakfast???

:laugh2: no. the shotglass was on the counter so i moved it over next to the burger to give you an idea of just how much i have left to eat.

i'm just about done that chunk and i feel pretty full. I also feel a really nasty dump coming on here shortly.

and wasn't the last person to finish one of these a skinny little woman?

wtf/damn

yeah, some college chick from NJ, weighed about 100lbs. she didn't eat for 2 days before hand and managed to polish off the burger in 2 hours 51 minutes.

i had 3 beers before hand and we had some mozzerela sticks an hour and a half before we got our burgers. i knew i wasn't giong to eat it all, i just wanted to say i tried.

that pic of the burger in the carseat is a classic.

did the rest of the board members show up?

only 1 other showed. i was kinda ticked because there were supposed to be 10 or 12 of us total. i had a sign on top of the paper towel holder that you could see from across the damn resteraunt. the guy that showed was 45 minutes late. he had about a 2 hour drive, and it took us 1 hour 40 minutes each way.

it was cool though. me and my gf were having a nice night and then the other dude showed up and hilarity ensued with picture taking and what not. he was a pretty cool dude. still waiting to find out what happened to the other people, and we're going to pass their "excuses" along to one of the prick moderators and see if we can get them temp bans for being dickheads :laugh2:

Buddy Christ and Crak make one solid team.

I want one of those burgers, perfect bulking meal.

My brotherinlaw ate 12 bologna and cheese sandwiches, dry-no mayo or anything. 1 pound of bologna, 1 pack of cheese, 1 loaf of bread. With NOTHING to drink. After getting stoned. I seen him do it. 6'7" and 275.

How much was that beast? Whats the prize if you kill it?

2lb burger was $10. eat it all in 1 hour and you get 50% off, a t-shirt, and your picture on thier wall of gluttons, err, fame.

they have a 3lb burger that if you eat it all in 90 minutes you get 50% off and the same stuff as if you eat the 2lb burger.

the 6lb burger - you get it FREE, t-shirt, wall of fame, and apparently you get in a few newspapers, as that's what happened when the 100lb girl became the first one to meet the 3 hour challenge.

I think I seen this place on TV and 1 dude actually got it down. And he wasn't fat. I heard skinny people can eat more becaue they have no fat to keep their stomachs from expanding.

Great post! Thanks for all the pics. :)

Yeah, man. You went to a lotta trouble to give all your bro's here and interesting thread to look at for a change. It's very rare that something cool like this comes along in the sea of useless CanadianCutie threads.
You got some K comin' your way from the Triple M.

:lmao: at some of those pics!

I wanna eat that burger!!

thats awesome....thanks for not inviting me fuckface

Philly = 3 hour drive for me

Clearfield = 2 hour drive for me (well, i cut it in 1 hour 40 minutes)

you would've had a 5 hour drive each way (NE Ext, Pocono exit, then I-80W). I honestly did not think you (or anyone else with that far of a drive) would be interested in going.

i wouldn't mind going back in a couple of months, but i'm not getting a huge ass burger again. i want to sample their wings, the waitress said wings are their specialty. they had i think 25 different types availible, including Volcano :p :p :p

I bet you could have eaten more if you didn't get the lettuce and tomato on it.

actually AAP, i was told there's a strategy to eating this massive burger. start with the meat, then all the lettuce, tomatoes, etc, then the buns. it's actually a good thing that my stomach won't accept THAT much food at once. i'm afraid to see how fat i'd get if i could eat like no tomorrow.

ChrisOh said:
wait, so how much did the 6lb burger cost if you didnt finish it in 3 hours?

$24. not a bad deal actually. 2lb one was $10. most places you pay that much for a 1/2lb burger and it's not as good.

just lifting that thing up and taking a bite woulda been murder on ur front delts :P

it was 9 or 11lbs overall. hefty for a burger. problem was it wanted to move as soon as you picked it up. pain in the ass to keep steady. i only picked it up for some pics, not for eating.

i'd love to watch someone i know polish off the 2lb, 3lb, or 6lb so i could sit there and fuck with them the entire time. it'd be fun.

buddy of mine SWEARS he can do it, but only because his stomach never sends the message to his brain that he's full. he said when he sits down to eat, he has to tell himself when to stop. he'll go to mcdonalds and get a double quarter pounder, 2 chicken sandwiches, supersize fries, and he's ready to go back up and get more. watched him eat 5 pieces of pizza one night in the time it took me to eat two and he said, "i can't eat any more, i must tell myself to stop or i'm going to finish off both pizzas and still be hungry." it's amazing he's not fat.

I know for a fact I could do the 2lb burger easily........the 3lb, 99%.........but have severe doubts on the 6lb'r

you get 90 minutes on the 3lb burger. little bit more time to taste defeat, no?

college I killed a 64oz prime and Mortons and got it free...granted I was 30lb heavier, but I could def. do the 2lb'r.........I'd bet my ride........

Your friend could make himself rich if he taught overweight people how to stop eating.

Well I can polish off a 1lbs Arby's Big Montana roast beef burger in about 10 minutes with room to spare. I think I could eat about 3/4 of the 2lbs burger.

I'd have to not eat anything though for a good 6-8 hours though.

no shit, eh? he's got a little bit in the middle, but i wouldn't dare say he's fat. his chest and shoulders are decent, got good build for his height (hits the gym on a regular basis too but not to get bigger, just to stay in shape). he's 5'8-9" and i wanna say about 200lbs.

but yeah, self control is a big thing. i think the fear of getting fat is what keeps him from overeating. he knows he could make himself round easily.

Competition with a Jersey restaurant has driven that one to make a 15lb. burger. They won't quit until someone's tract forces stuff out of one end or another.

Pa. Eatery Offers New 15-Pound Burger

CLEARFIELD, Pa. (AP) -- The burger war is growing. Literally. Denny's Beer Barrel Pub, which lost its crown as the home of the world's biggest burger earlier this year, is now offering a new burger that weighs a whopping 15 pounds.

Dubbed the Beer Barrel Belly Buster, the burger comes with 10.5 pounds of ground beef, 25 slices of cheese, a head of lettuce, three tomatoes, two onions, a cup-and-a-half each of mayonnaise, relish, ketchup, mustard and banana peppers - and a bun.

It costs $30.

"It can feed a family of 10," said Denny Liegey Sr., the restaurant's owner.

Denny's Beer Barrel Pub had offered a 6-pound burger - with 5 pounds of toppings.

In February, a 100-pound female college student became the first to eat the burger within the three-hour time limit. Kate Stelnick, of Princeton, N.J., was awarded a special certificate, a T-shirt and other prizes and Leigey picked up the $23.95 tab for the burger.

One month later, the Clinton Station Diner in Clinton, N.J., introduced a 12.5-pound burger dubbed Zeus.

So Liegey responded, and the Belly Buster was born.

Over the weekend, four men took the challenge, but couldn't get through the entire burger. They opted for doggie bags, instead.

"It's a little too much for me to handle," said Steve Hepburn, of Clearfield. "It's like trying to eat half a cow."

An Olympian task
Diners take on king of the mountain when it comes to Greek-themed burgers
Tuesday, May 10, 2005
By TOM QUIGLEY
The Express-Times
UNION TWP. -- Gentleman Joe Menchetti arrived at the Clinton Station Diner on Monday dressed in a black tuxedo with red suspenders and a black bowler hat atop his huge 345-pound frame.

The dapper diner and 17 others had come to take part in America's Biggest Burger Eating Competition.

The contest pitted six teams of three men each against the diner's huge hamburger dubbed the Zeus.

"Today Zeus will fall," diner owner Michael Zambas predicted as the six teams sat down for the start of the contest.

The behemoth burger weighs in at 12.5 pounds. That's 7 pounds of meat, a 2(-pound bun and 3 pounds of toppings. The burgers are about 16 inches in diameter and between 6 and 8 inches tall.

Menchetti's fellow diners included Dominick "the Doginator" Cardo who once polished off more than 3 pounds of cow's tongue during the Glutton Bowl in California. The 46-year-old competitive eater is from Bartonsville, Pa., and he weighs 325 pounds.

The third member of the Tri-State Titans was 44-year-old Oceanside, N.Y., resident Arnie "Chowhound" Chapman. The 240-pound Chapman is president of the Association of Independent Competitive Eaters.

Needless to say, the 910-pound trio made mincemeat of the other teams and somehow managed to consume the Zeus burger in one hour, 11 minutes and 52 seconds.

The Titans almost blew it when Chapman had what master of ceremonies Mike Sisco would later describe as a "reversal of fortune" all over the table and himself.

The "reversal" occurred after the meal was completed and Chapman and his teammates narrowly avoided the automatic disqualification that comes with such occurrences.

"I knew after 10 minutes this wasn't my day," Chapman said later.

The other five teams, The Three Stooges, The Bottom Feeders, The All-Out Eaters, the Elks Club of Clinton, and The Little Eaters, all managed to keep eating until time ran out after an hour and 15 minutes.

Three Stooges member John McGowan, 26, of Bethlehem, Pa., said this was only his second time in an eating contest.

"I think I'd do better if this was a pizza-eating contest," he said.

Proceeds from the event are being donated to Operation Shoebox New Jersey 2005, a volunteer effort to ship such items as candy, toilet paper and other personal necessities to the troops in Iraq, organizers said.

The group has already sent about 1,500 packages. A tally of the money raised was not available Monday although at least $500 will be going to the cause.

Zambas, who said he hosted the event to celebrate the diner's recent one-year anniversary, is also donating 15 percent of the Monday night dinner receipts to Operation Shoebox.

Anyone interested in tackling one of the big burgers can purchase one for $29.95 plus a few dollars for condiments.

Those with a less hearty appetite can tackle the diner's 3-pound Atlas burger, the 2-pound Hercules burger or the 1-pound Achilles burger.

Monday's giant burgers were cooked by chefs Peter Karavoulias, of Stroudsburg, Pa., and Armando Garcia, of Pen Argyl.

Karavoulias said it takes only 35 minutes to cook one of the burgers.

"Medium-well," he added.
