6 weeks post-cycle. How much longer till I'm "Normal"

Tomorrow is the end of my 6th full week since my cycle ended. I was on 500mg test enanthate per week for the first 6 weeks of the cycle and then for the last 5 weeks of the cycle I went down in dose to 250mg every 5 days.

13 days after my last injection I started HCG. I did 2000 IU twice a week for two weeks and then my third week I started 40 mg nolvadex per day with two 1000 IU shots of HCG. After a week of nolvadex I added in 25 mg aromasin, which I am slowly tapering down (25, 25, 20, 15, 10, 5, 0). Once I'm done the aromasin taper I'm going to continue the nolvadex for two more weeks before tapering it as well.

I know that was long-winded, but that is the background of my cycle and PCT. The question I have is how long before I can get my blood tests to see if I have fully recovered or not? Also how long before I am supposed to lose the weight I gained while on cycle? I ended my cycle at 182 pounds and right now I'm weighing in at 179 lbs. I keep fearing this sudden drop in strength and weight, but so far it hasn't happened.

2-3 month after the cycle you shoud get blood work to check all your levels.
You should be able to keep most of your gains if pct, diet and training is done correctly. the weight you have lost is most likely water weight. you may like to look into the test recovery stacks from the sponsors as everyone who uses them for pct loves them.

If you did it right you'd be 100% by now.

Here's where you went wrong...

Way too much anti e for that dosage.

Started HCG too late and took too much.

No UNLEASHED. No POST-CYCLE. No ALpha Sustain

Nolvadex blows.

Now ya know for next time.

Nelson, the biggest problem with PCT advice is that there is SO much of it. Theres like 1000 articles all over the internet with different PCT protocols. This is just the one I decided on using. So far I dunno, it seems to be working to me, but this is my first PCT since it was my first cycle, so i don't really know what to be looking for. My strength hasn't gone down at all and my wieght is only down three pounds, which seems to be water weight.

If I'm using too much anti-E should I go ahead and start tapering off the nolva right now and just be done with it in the next 7 days?

If you haven't experienced a major crash then you may be fine. Your dosages weren't that high which was the first step in avoiding shut down.

Yes, there's a lot of info on PCT, the problem is, internet info is usually misinformation from either self professed gurus, imperious chemistry student, or any ol' idiot with nothing better to do than go on dozens of message boards. The same myths get passed on and on. ( Most of the stuff, like Duchaines work that is pre-internet is outdated and been proven "less than optimal.") .

Drugs like nolva have little value and can cause serious sides. If you avoided loss of libido, you're lucky, but it's doubtful the nolva had anything to do with recovery.

The key is to lessen side effects and get your body working at full steam. Drugs get it going but the supps support the HPTA. Then there's a protocol for AFTER PCT where you must train, eat and supplement correctly to maintain the gains.

Thanks for the info, I would love to cut out the nolva from any future PCT. I am taking a well known liquid nolva and man it tastes really really BAD, so I'm cool with not using it again.

I have changed my training protocol also since I've been off. I am only going to the gym 4 days a week now and not 6, and I cut out a good portion of isolation movements, sticking mostly to the big lifts (deads, squats, bench).

I haven't felt any kind of crash yet, the most noticeable thing for me so far was I don't look as "swollen", muscle is still there but more cut rather than big. Also I don't want to rail my GF every 15 minutes anymore.

Other than that no real big difference since I've been done the cycle.
