The reality of prohormones and other knock off crap like that is that they work as placebos. Results are purely psychological. It's amazing what the mond can do when we really try. Though they are based on scientific prinipals, prohormones simply aren't powerfull enought o stimulate any physiological response. They DO NOT elevate testosterone levels enough to create and anabolic environment and the effect is so short lived that there is no time for anything physiologicaly anabolic to occur. They are for the most part scams sold to uneducated, desparate, throw money at any claim consumers who are unwilling to get the facts for themselves. I'm not flaming you, just simply telling you you wasted your money.

Also, pro-complex, maltodextrin, and flax seed oil don't constitute supplements. They're simply food items. We don't consider eggs, table sugar, or olive oil supplements. We call them food and that's what protein powders, carb powders, and various oils are. The fat intake in your diet is high. I would replace some of those fat calories with calories from protein. Keep fat at around 100g a day and make up some of the lost calories through protein. According to your nutrient breakdown 42% of your daily calories are derrived from fat...WAY too much. 20% should be tops for any bodybuilder/strength athelete. At 200 pounds you should try to get 400g of protein a day.

It's too late to take them back and get your lost money back, so foccus all you have into your diet, training, and rest and you'll do very well as those are the only things that matter. Just next time think before you buy. Perhaps next "cycle" you can run a real cycle and see the comparison for yourself.

placebo/andro?

No, I must say guys, before I ever did the real juice, I did about a year on and off of the androstenedione, norandro, -9, -4, -15, and a bunch of other numbers that 'tards like me don't understand. All legal over-the-counter. I did not grow like I do on juice, but my body never saw riods except many years back with a little bit of oral Winstrol for boxing. Remember, the stuff does convert to the equivalent of synthetic roids in the body. The QUANTITY is the key. It is not nearly as much. I gained some true muscle and some strength. The stuff works to a degree. Was also doing the creatine.
This guy is young and just getting into the game in his first few years. I think it is great he is working his ass off in the gym and getting strength gains, and almost naturally. If you are growing and getting stronger, and are happy with your progress, keep it up. You have a lot of years ahead to think about sticking your butt with needles.
One thing to keep in mind, though - objectively speaking, regardless of what we consume, there are benefits in some areas and drawbacks in others. Pouring a ton of the over-the-counter stuff orally into your body is not necessarily "safe" just because it is legal. One must think of the wear and tear on the organs, especially liver, kidneys, and heart vs. the gains. If you could do a low-dose cycle of injectable Decadurabolin vs. bottle after bottle of the andro stuff, you may be hurting your organs less! I'm no expert, but I have been doing the supplement-training game for over 15 years (yes, 15) and just got into roids about two years ago. I sometimes wish I would have saved my $ from the piles of supplements and bought some juice a long time before. You are young, so keep up the good work, and keep it all in perspective. SLOW progress is the key to quality.

begining of week 3.

40 lbs

40 lbs of muscle in a year,..wow, I did all that prohormone crap for a year and ended up with 8 lbs. Thats all, and I credit that to my workouts and diet. But hey if your body is that responsive, just imagine what you would like if yoiu had done gear instead of prohormones, Incredible Hulk.
Anyway, I soon realized that gear is just as safe if not safer than prohormones and they actually work.

40lbs

let me explain about the fourty pounds.
before i got into real bodybuilding, i was 165lbs at about 16%bf.
my workouts after i hurt my knee consisted of the regular college guy stuff, some bench, curls, flys, no legs. i ate once maybe twice a day and played lots of hoops, smoked lots of green.

i stopped smoking trees about 3 yrs ago n started to take school more seriously. my next step was i decided i didn't want to look shitty any more, i looked like all the other college guys.

i started eating right and started doing real workouts with deads squats, rows and using a body split. that was january 2001
now i am 207lbs at about 10-11%bf

the reason i was able to put on so much wieght was because i started with nothing.

and it is one of the best things i have ever done for myself, i hope everyone else has the positive feelings about bodybuilding, powerlifting and fitness in general as well.

peace to my iron family
