6 plates on the bar

cheesecake started training 4 months ago. by the end of this year he will pull over 405 on deadlift. within 2 years of training, i will bet money he will pull over 600.

you just have to focus on your form and training revex, if you really want to excel at one thing you have to focus on it. like you hurt your shoulder not tapping out the other day, that put you out of commision for a while, maybe even still. either way it set you back. someone focused will not take a chance on hurting themselves and preventing their goal.

its all about knowledge, guts, and determination.

yea..its good journey when you venture into the realm of 6 plates..i've visited this realm once too often..which is a good thing right? tb

Sometimes knowledge grits and determination is simply not enough

I am gonna get 6 plates per side soonon deadlift. maybe by end of the year. been lifting hard and with good info for last 2-3 years, I was dicking around the other years.

It all comes down to how hard you train in and out of the gym

i spotted a guy

who had five plates on the bar for inclines. he nailed it. i asked him if he wanted me to add more weight. he said thank you no, please take the plates off and go away.

Ive already hit 6 plates (585) on Beast lifts (deadlift off the ground, but with the bar behind the legs) and over seven plates a side off the lowest setting in the rack (715) I plan to deadlift much more then that and exceed it raw on the bench one day as well. =)

the funny thing is that when you get to the point where you can move that kind of weight you have to start using the compact kilogram plates that weigh more, or 100 pound plates, and the whole glory thing is out the window

haha Yea I got this fucking preferance, and people criticize me for it, but I take all the thick plates on my deadlift day. There are only 14 in the gym. I use them all when Im on the power rack, and all but 2 of them when Im working off the floor. I love how it looks!! hehe Motivates me! I noticed with 7 plates a side plus a 25 there is hardly any room on the bar. Not sure how much it holds. I know it can hold atleast 8 a side. =) Ive only been deadlifting steady for a year, so Im not even close to hitting a true barrier. For standard deads and rack pulls I only go up to 5 and a quarter on each side though =)
