6 pack with love handles?

I have a 6 pack, my core is very good. I can do 13 hanging leg raises with a 8lb dumbell between my feet (hanging like a starting pullup position).

My core is strong, my obliques are kind of big and im wondering what I can do to make them go away?

Seems like either

A) do shoulder/lat exercises and create more of a V taper look to make them appear smaller

B) lose fat and go from 10% to 7%

I want to do option A, but I love working out abs. I want them a little bigger but not my obliques, any help?
 
hmm i just do four sets of sit ups with the heaviest wieght i can for 8 reps ( bench as steep as possible) and do 4 sets of hanging knee raises with the heaviest dumbell between my feet for 8 reps, my abs are one of my best parts. they are fuckign massive, there size and strenght is the most important to me. AS u probs already know deads and squats get ur abs big as fuck.
 
I suffer from this same disease my friend. Losing the BF is the only real option. It must be genetic so we have to go lower in bf% to get rid of it. I'm on a CKD right now trying to do this.

The big shoulders and lats will help from the front, but a quick look from the back shows that v going in and then back out for a ROUND.

what db do you use? thats hella strong
 
For the oblique abs Bill Starr suggests broomstick twists, over 100 reps at a time to really trim them down, but while doing the twists the midsection as to be tight.

Other thing it will help it's ab vacuum exercises, you won't lose bf doing these but your waist will get more compact.
 
vacuum stuff works great, my abs are sucked in all the time without me even realising it now!

& at least your V-Taper is wide at the bottom because of muscle rather than fat like mine :p
