And my partner hit a skwat pr at 775 with wraps and a belt. Good day for both of us.

I just increase the weight each week. I try to get anywhere from 1-5 reps usually, with just more weight each time. It works for me.
 
He only does 1 set a week. Why do you say it would overtrain you?

So you have migrated here, huh? Are you training?

Well when one is not on some serious gear, the cns will become burnt out and numbers will go backwards if som sort of periodization is not used and maximal attempts are made each week
 
Well slobber drinks half a gallon of liquid d-bol a day, so overtraining is not even a possibility for him.

I had gains with this program when I was natural. I would just make much smaller increases each week. Usually only 5 lbs onto a lift per workout, or maybe a rep or two. But I still grew like a weed.
