5X5 Week to week variation

I am into my 3rd month on 5X5. It is starting to get harder now, I was thinking of finishing this week of 5X5 then starting to alternate one week of 5X5 then the next week doing high reps with lower weight then swithcing back the following week to 5x5. Maybe doing that would allow me to last longer with the 5X5 by giving more time to recoup?
 
NO, but i wouldnt switch every week. If i switch things up i will do one set/rep scheme for about 3-4 weeks.
 
you are doing high reps after 5x5 right? i personally dont see the need to do that, maybe change the exercises you use for 5x5? just my opinion
