5x5 - splitting back into upper and lower

There are two great back exercises that I love - weighted chins and deadlift. As deadlift primarily hits upper and weighted his upper, can I split my back in two and do both 5x5 heavy on back (/bicep) day?
 
Im current doing 5x5 and have 2 back days 1 for width and 1 for thickness. I love it.

day 1
chest upper back (width) abs
day 2
legs calfs
day 3
off
day 4
shoulders lower back (thickness) traps abs
day 5
bis tris calfs
day 6,7
off
 
upper back I do chins (weighted) 5x5
close grip pull downs 2x10
and bent over db rows 2x10

Lower I do deads 5x5
bentover bbrows 2x10
t bar rows in the corner 2x10
