5x5 Question (Wednesday Workout)

Hey guys I've been doing 5x5 and have gotten good results. However, I feel like my shoulders are lagging behind. Therefore, I've stopped subbing Incline for Military on Wednesdays...but I kind of miss the extra chest work. Could I do both on Wednesday?
 
Pick one and work it. If you feel chest is lagging then make it up during a different run. If you try to do both then you'll end up doing neither to any great effect.

It's a sad fact of being human that you can only push so many things at once. The more you try to add into the mix then the less is the application available for those already in the mix. Pick what you want and try to excel at it for a while; you can change the mix for a later run.
 
Hey I was reading about the 5 x 5 and it says you shouldn't use the smith machine. Is it bad that I use the smith machine for squats? Or any exercise for that matter?

Absolutely..use free weights
