5'11 190-lean possible without gear??

hell yeah it is.

im 5 9 ~174 lean (dieting down for a show) i was sitting higher in weight, pretty lean too.

190 at 5 11 is totally realistic.

That is a realistic goal, in fact, unless you have really bad genetics, you should have no probs as long as you train hard and eat right.

If I were you, I'd shoot for 200, it just sounds better and is only an extra 10 lbs. But 190 is good for the meantime.

yeah, i hit 200lbs with my last bulking phase and im 5 11 1/2 and totally natural. Im cutting up now and im down to about 185lbs with about 12-14% bf. I reckon next year i could be 200lb lean.

Fuck I almost hitting 195 and I'm 5'7 at 12-14% and I am by no means dieting. It is possible, just make sure you eat clean and lift hard, but more importantly do everything smartly and it should be no problem.

I'm tryin to get to 197 at 7% by the middle of summer, about 14lbs of muscle in 12 weeks.....

I'm 6'1" and I went from 190 to 260 in less than 2 years, natural. I expect to be about 240 once I diet down. Steroids work wonders, but anyone who tells you that you absolutely need them to be huge is lying.

Never ever stop believeing in YOUrself for one moment my good friend...never.

Very possible...if you believe.

you think so??

NOPE...IMPOSSIBLE!!!

Without even seeing you or knowing anything about your training, diet, or genetics I know that it will be impossible for you to reach that goal without gear.

:lmao:

Now THATS sarcasm!

I believe you shouldn't even use roids unless you've reached at least around that point. There are way too many people using gear before they get even close to their natural limit. Those people I would categorize as LAZY. I didn't do my first cycle till I was lifting for 8 years and was 200lbs 12%bf.

Of course it's possible, and not even a big deal, you can get to 190 pretty fast. The fact that you're skinny is really an advantage, not bad genetics, you'll probably gain very little fat as your weight goes up. Go for high carb, medium protein, medium to low fat diet, and do it every day. Just make sure you get enough calories every day, it's critical for naturally lean people that are not used to eating a lot on regular basis.

I hope this thread was a joke. Five eleven and one ninety is skinny.
I was the short skinny kid. Five foot seven, weighed one fifty-five coming out of high school, now weigh in about 230 at the same height.
You should not even consider gear until over 200 lbs at your height. And if you are 19 years old, just be patient and give it some time. When I was a teen, it seemed like nothing would make me get bigger, but with time, the metabolism switched around to where it was easier to put on size and strength, and I became aware that although I thought I was eating a lot as a kid, I was not eating nearly enough to reach my goals.
This is a journey, not a destination. Goals are important, both short term and long term, they keep you focused. What do you weigh, and what is your age right now?

I agree totally. No one, and I mean no one should have trouble gaining weight if they eat enough, albeit it might be at a pace. Stick to the basics and get rid of the fluff stuff (cable cross-overs, concentration curls, etc) You need something to cut up. I would stick to the diet mentioned above, but go slightly higher in (healthy) fat, i.e., natural peanut butter, olive oil, whole eggs, etc. I know, I know "I eat tons everyday but I dont gain" Well, either 1) You are fooling yourself. In which case, write a food diary or 2) You are not eating enuff. Period.

1) Heavy basic exercises, 2) LOTS of food, 3) LOTS of sleep and , oh yeah, 4) LOTS of food.

Good Luck
