5 weeks in and Hurt!

5th stick today and playing ball to get a sweat before lifting...throw my lower back :rolleyes: . Heard two small pops and it's really tensed up and I can't stand straight properly without some pain. What the fuck.

Question: stop the cycle now and pick it back up when I can lift heavy again....or keep going with my 250sust/wk and just wait it out?

I wouldn't just stop the cycle all of a sudden - all you need is a messed up back and no nuts.

Stay on it for a week at 250mgs prop and start you PCT, drop the cycle after a week and start intense PCT to get you back to normal test levels.

all in all, go see a DOCTOR asap

So tough seeing good progress and having it all fall apart because of a goddamn injury in a pointless game with a bunch of scrubs. Praying this will be a 1 week thing. PLEASE!!!!
 
Sounds like a back spasm, I had the same thing happen to me while doing some heavy dead lifts. Felt/heard something pop then my lower back tensed up like a mofo and did not relax for over a week. I pretty much had to stay in bed for a week as moving around generally seemed to make it worse. I went to the doctor and read a lot on the internet, conclusion, best thing to do is stay off your feet and alternate ice and heat, ice for 20min then heat for 20min. This is supposed to shock the muscles and break the constant contractions, spasms. I now do 3-4 diff stretches every morning that are supposed to insure this type of injury will never again occur, but just to be on the safe side I have refrained from heavy dead lifts as well. Hope this was helpful. Good luck getting back on your feet and back in the gym.
 
go see a chiropractor! Does wonders for me.
 
i fucked up my back last year squatting, couldn;t stand straight up.. when to visit parents and bro on vacation , my bro is a PT, he fixed me within 5 minutes.

Done the same thing...in 100% agreement with the hot cold compresses...and I mean do this over as long a period as possible (hours preferably). I do NOT recommend recommend any anti-inflammatories or pain killers as they generally interfere with the body's natural healing process. BUT I DO recommend constant movement though... continually trying to increase pain free ROM. Movement = more blood flow = waste removal = faster healing.

Good points. Yep my shitfuck hmo recommended antinflam's and gave me an appointment in 3 weeks! American healthcare rocks!

I don't think it's as bad as yours was Xcon, I can walk today, no drugs. I honestly think all the heavy training and abwork helped me some, I've done it WAY worse before. Dunno what's worse, the testflu I seem to have now or my back. Whathafuck!
