5 days out and Thirteen competitors in my division. I think this is gonna be my hardest week at school, all I think about is my form and wondering how strong everyone else is :( . Oh well gonna train very lightly this week here's how it is gonna be

Mon, delt/tris lot of reps on pushpress, militaries and Tate press
tues, rest +cardio
wens, light box squats, grip work, revese hypers, some pull-ups
thu light walking or wading+stretching
fri rest and more rest with stretching

So hopefully I will peak at the right time and bring my game face

IMHO, I think you should take off at least 96 hours before the competition. At this point you won't gain anymore strength. You've done all that you can do. I would recommend AR work, light cardio and stretching. Good luck!

I agree for the most part. I've done box squats with 135 on the Tuesday before a contest before...felt good.

Not sure how 'light' you meant on box squats though...

i know its hard not to, but i wouldnt worry if i were you...you have nothin to worry about. your gonna be the one they are worrying about after one or two events. your gonna be the one they're tryin to catch.

got an adjustment today and one coming up friday and maybe a massage if I can haggle one. plenty of pool walking and stretching though.

guess I am on the right track.... I like to train hard untill about tues and then rest on wens-fri with just some active recovery and light speed workouts

good thinking.

see if you can use some of the bands and shit they have in the training roomin the Hubble. One or two chiro guys usually intern in there. See if you can find out whos in there and how you can get in.

:)
