47 reps on leg press...PUKE!

Man, wanted to do a high rep set near the end of the workout and misjudged ending up at a tough 47. But once you're in the middle of the set I figure I may as well finish strong. Limped myself home and had a damn headache for the rest of the day. Legs sore for 3 days.

Heavy/low reps are SO much easier...but I like a different kind of challenge now and then. :D

Awesome! Thats how I used to trian legs. Routinely doing leg press with 800lbs for 50+ reps. Multiple sets. Plus leg extentions. Would puke nearly everytime. Little size to show for it unfortunately.

damn thats nuts. I finish every quad routine with a triple drop usually on hacks, ie, 3 plates to failure, 2 plates to failure, 1 plate to failure. Thats only 30 reps and it damn near kills me

Those ATF squats you do or impressive man. Id bust my knee caps right off trying that shit! Squats to parallel are still real awkward to me, just started trying them again recently. Going to have to back off for a while though, due to my back injury.

Yeah....is it just different for different people?

I can get about 4 inches from the floor, but no further, no matter how much I try.

Also, the more weight I have on there the lower i can go :D

its flexability is the calves, some peoples dont stretch far enough

both my ankles have been sprained around 10 times (10 years of basketball), maybe that has something to do with it

I have problems going deep as well. My fucking heels come off the ground, hips and knees kill. I can go a little deeper with a wider, duck foot stance. I've been working on this for a year. No matter how light or heavy I go, I'm sore for 2-4 days. It's real frustrating. Anyone ever have this problem? Should I just keep stretching? I've also had this problem when barefoot waterskiing. I can't get into whats called a 3-point position. Basically sitting with knees bent at 45, knees touching with feet shoulder width. I can't touch my knees if my feet are wide?

I can't do two a week, thats for sure. I only have time to hit each bodypart once

same here, even if I could I wouldnt want to hit legs more than 1x per week, makes me sick every time

I puke after heavy cardio, though sometimes come close to it in the gym.

Something you gotta remember - think about how many calories you puked and how you are going to get them back. Puking stinks because I typically loose 800+ quality calories.
