365x5-deadlift! YA!!!

I'm so happy right now, I just deadlifted 365x5, a PR!!! yayyy, I love it soo much. I was 187 in the gym today. What about you guys , what is your pr for deads? Perferably in the 6 rep range, but anything goes! I was going for 6 reps, but my motto is, there's always next week!!
 
coz im on dc training, i usually aim for a heavy set of 3-5 reps and then 1 for 12+....both sets taken to failure
 
and today, i got a RDL PR of 205x13 off a 4" platform...the last time i did this (2 weeks ago) i set a new PR of 175x15...so i am doing quite well on DC Traning :)

So Dante is training you? THat is great if he is. If he is not then as he would say - You aren't doing DC training.
 
Thanks you very much guys. I had some nice callouses get ripped off in the process. I've done 405 for 1 rep the other week, it was harrrd getting that puppy up. I hope when i turn 20 to be doing 405 for 6 :)

no, i am being trained by 3 guys....thenatural, bigdownunder and RedSkull...these 3 are Dante's trainees themselves....of course, i am being guided by quite a few others who are PL'ers

and yes, i am on DC training....when did dante ever say that if u do not take his personal training u are not on dc training???

Its nice to see some real numbers...

seems like if you ask everyone is repping 600lbs on this board.

Im 5'7 190 and last week did 385x 2 which was a PR for me as well

Planning on starting the 5x5 pretty soon and see where that takes me.

Well, there are a good bunch of guys who can dead over 600... BiggT, tweakle prolly, bfold just to name a few.
 
At 174lbs I pulled 330lbs for a 2x2
I could go more, but my coach told me to stop and save some energy for next week's squatting session =P
 
The most I have tried yet was 524 at a BW of185. I pulled 515 off puns set 2 inches below my knees at the same weight, and pulled 425 lightened with mini bands off a 3 inch box. I haven't been doing too much rep work but I pulled 315 for 5x5 last week. I think I could pull at least 350x5 if I strapped in but these were all done with just chalk.
 
Props on the 500lb at 200.

Last week I was going for 365x6 also, but after the third rep, the strap unravelled and fucked me up! From not on I'm only using straps for max dead(rare) and shrugs. Chalk is simply amazing.

A good pull is when the bar leaves an imprint in your palm. A great lift is when some of your skin stays on the bar. LOL
 
I started deadlifting only 3 1/2 months ago, which since then has been my weakest lift and has been sort of difficult with a beginning weight of 185x5, and last week i was only hitting 205x5, and yesterday i hit a new PR, i dont really understand it, i guess it has to do with the environment my gym has, but yesterdays workout was in the busy hours, opposed to the usual, of 3 - 65 yr. old ladies , and two trainers talking to them for 15 minutes in between sets...

New Dead PR 275x6!!!
I was happy...
 
385x5 then 405x2 prob coulda done more but had just finished squatting so was pretty beat. Does everyone use straps. I dont pull them out till 405
