30 days on HRT, lab results

31 years old, 6'3" 193lb, workout 3 days a week. I've had low test for at least a year, finally found a good endo.

When these labs were done I was taking .25cc Test Cyp every 3.5 days and 30mg/day Armour Thyroid.

FSH 0.104 Normal 2.0/13.9 Panic 14.0

Test Total 459

T-4 Free 1.2ng/dL Ref range: 0.8-1.8ng/DL

T3, Free 3.7pg/mL Ref range: 2.3-4.2pg/mL

TSH .786

Estradiol 49.5

LH <0.10

Many of those didn't show a reference range? Is the Estradiol high?

it's obvious that ur total test is in ng/dl (459) so ur E2 would be in pg/ml with a range between 14 pg/ml to 55 pg/ml , so ur E2 is a bit high but still in the normal range, r u taking an AI ?

My test was 302ng/dl at last check. Can you say zero sex drive. It sucks. I have been approved for HRT but I don't have insurance at the moment so I am not doing it. I may go on my own with 100mgs a week. The lifestyle difference is worth it.

come on dude ur mentor here on EF and ur still waiting for a decision, i say what the hell go with and monitor urself, i'm sure u know what ur doing, afterall where all here buddy

My doc said he doesn't typically prescribe an AI unless levels are over 75. He did bump me up to 150mg/wk of test so my e2 levels are probably even higher now, I'll find out in a few weeks.

after all it's not about the numbers it's about how u feel, r u having some sides like anxiety, mood swings, water retention, acne, insomnia..... if u feel ok then don't worry, but if u feel not ok and specially now after bumping ur test dose u need to insist on starting an AI and tell ur doc about ur sides if there's any.
