Since I;ve been home for the holidays, I havent been able to workout, for three weeks!!!, when i arrive back to school, how long do you think aprox, will it take me to get where I was before I came here? thank you !!

it really depends on you. not too long id think. prob around 3 weeks and you;ll be back to normal. hell, i took off six months and within 2 months, im back to what i was maxing a couple years ago. im also on some tbol and test e : )

it won't take long, I had knee surgery and was back at my normal weights and reps except for legs on a couple weeks

it really depends. If you were really pushing things for awhile, and you were in a state of overtraining, you'll be lifting more weight by the SuperBowl than you were before you stopped.

It's an amazing thing, huh?

Whan I was in my early days of training, - every couple of months I would take a few weeks off, and when I'd come back - I would alway be stronger.

Now, after all these years, - you find out that you were overtraining, undereating,...etc.............

right now - you are in the right frame of mind, cause you "feel bad" about missing a couple weeks - but just know (and don't use an excuse!) that you probably did your body a little favor by actually letting it catch-up to all the punishment you put it through.

nice topic - what do I know - and good luck.........................

Peace...............

I agree with you. I used to always train train train.... I wouldnt grow fast. I read somewhere how its good every so often to take of like three weeks and youll be better when you go back. I tried it. It worked. I was then doing it all the time. about 2 months in the gym and 3 weeks off. I noticed I did so much better like that. You dont want to over train. I will now train around 3-4 months and take off two weeks. Ill see how it goes.

Thanks a lot guys, I love the reply's!! and I am very happy now, thank you very much!

I can't wait to get back myself I've been out of the gym for about 5 weeks now and had to cut a cycle short due to getting stabbed in the stomach. I have a Doctor appt Friday and hopefully I will be able to start back some light lifting!

Three weeks isnt that much, it will take few weeks to get back, 2-3 weeks I think.

Wont take long at all...got to love "muscle memory" plus its always a good thing to take off from the gym..when you get back you will feel week, but you will grow like a weed!
