3 exercises per body part

I am trying to change my workout - are 3 to 4 exercises enough for each body part - and would 6 sets of 10-12 reps be sufficient to increase muscle mass? ALso, pyramid the weights for each sets. Right now I do around 5 to 6 exercises, 3 sets of 10-12 reps but I feel like I am not getting any where in my workouts.
 
Increasing mass is more about recovery. Get in there and rip those muscles up, and then go home and eat and sleep. That's when you grow. Everytime those muscle fibers get a chance to heal fully, they heal a lil larger...growth.

I do one exercise, 3-4 sets per muscle, and grow like a weed. However, I get lots of rest, the right foods, and LOTS of active recovery.
 
lower your reps and slow down your movements, you'll get more out of that. If your doing 12-15 your prob just building endurance. You can keep the same time under tension and do 8 reps and get a lot more out of it.
