3/8 needle length?

ok, I bought 26g needles at the store and didn't look at the length. Well usually I always use nothing smaller than a 1" in length needles. Well I ran out of those yesterday so I used one of the 26g 3/8 needles in my tricep yesterday, My body fat is low and the muscle is basically right there so I figured it would get deep enough which I think it had. Well my question is, is do you fellas think that I shouldnt even use the 3/8 because it wont get deep enough and will be wasting the gear??

I usually beleive that nothing smaller than 5/8, and 3/8 is very small but for spot injections it might be ok, but will still be cutting it close.

"but will still be cutting it close" - Damn straight that's cutting it close. You are running the risk of a sterile infection. That's when the gear gets caught inbetween the muscle and skin. I would get the correct lenght if I were you.

great response brotha. Can you explain what can happen with a sterile infection, and the seriousness of it. Would it be considered just as bad and serious as a normal infection?
