2nd interview tomorrow, babeeeeeeee!

just when i was thinking that i must do something horribly strange on my interviews, i got a call back from the one I wanted the most.

of the 3 interviews I went on, the one I didn't want at all waited 2 weeks and then asked if i'd like to come back with other candidates for a second interview. I said no thank you.

My second choice sent me a very nice rejection letter.

the one I wanted the most called today to set up a second interview, and implied that I would be the only one coming back in, and that it was also a formality to meet the president. YAY! now i have to refrain from embarrassing myself.

OH, and so far, no mention of background check or drug test! yay!

it's small (40 people) but growing. The owner used to own a larger company that he sold when it was #167 on INC magazine's 500 fastest growing companies.
This one does almost the same thing, but better. I'd be the head of their new marketing department.

update. they just called and changed it to thursday. apparently someone in the company has his own plane and is flying them to a meeting tomorrow, so they changed my interview to thursday. The guy that called me about it said it would be short (so i'm thinking it's just a formality to meet the pres before they hire me) because he has a big interview at 2. Then he quickly clarified and said that it was with the media, not an interview for my position.

When I resigned my job I just gave them a verbal two weeks notice. They didn't ask for anything written so I didn't give them anything. I figured it was the right thing to do since I was salary and pseudo-management.
