2cc's in 25g pin took forever!

I gave myself a delt injection today with 1cc of fina and 1cc of EQ with a 25g pin. The oil took forever to come out, I had to keep on switching hand positions to stop my fingers from cramping. Anyone else have this problem with a 25g pin?

Gilly said it. I've never really had trouble with a 25g pin-- I do really take my time injecting however... almost a full minute per cc usually--- I just dont want to push it in all at once-- can't be good.

I use 25 all the time, I inject slow. I did have a problem with sus last year. Had to push pretty hard.

The only time I have a problem injecting from a 25g is when I forget to warm up the solution. Just run the syringe under some hot water for a minute or so and then inject.

Yep, warm it up under hot water and inject 1 minute per cc and you'll be fine. It will reduce pain and microtrauma/damage to the muscle.

I just started using 25's for the first time. Sooo much smoother. Pin slid in like butter. 3 cc's in under a minute. I'll never go back to 23 1.5's again!

how would you guys compare a 22.5 guage to 25 guage as far as painful pin penitration?

I don't understand why everyone has problems shooting through a 25. . .I never have problems?? I shoot 27's all the time 1cc takes me about 15 sec's, I've never had a problem.

What kinda sticks are you guys using?

Maybe it's because I use terumo's and they are supposed to have ultra thin walls. This is from the terumo website:

The Ultra Thin Wall Needles are allowing to choose a smaller, more comfortable gauge size with increased flow rates over Regular Wall or Thin Wall Needles.

Additionally, injection fluids with a high viscosity can be injected more smoothly than with standard needles.
