23g x 1" pin good for glute shots?

I'm going to be injecting Test Enthanate (schering). 2cc's a week. my source sent me 23g, 1 inch pins. Are these long enough for doing glute shots? I thought most folks use 1.5 inchers.....

as long as your not a fat ass you will be alright with 1". just make sure it goes in all the way. If you have a good amount of chub on your ass then I would go with 1.5".

Why not inject in your quads man!! Its easy as hell and takes little to no time at all. Plus i would get your hands on some 1.5" pins if you are going to inject in your ass so that you can inject deep into the muscle! It should be a joke getting your hands on some pins man!!!

You need a 1.5".

If you have 1" go for the quad since the needle is too short for the glute. IMHO

I agree with the above comments. Probably should go 1.5 in the arse. Quads are a great spot, 1 inch is perfect for them. Also - you might consider going 25 guage. Until recently, I always used 23, and after 15yrs or so of cycling, I'm getting quite a bit of scar tissue build up in my favorite glute spots. I get it in about 1 inch, then its like there is a hard barrier that I have to poke it through to get the next 1/2 inch in. So- while I have the least risk of a painful shot in the glutes, I'm liking quads more all the time....

The 1" is fine as long as your bodyfat is not about 15%.
