i use 23 1.5" for glutes. i think that is the standard.

Unless you have a reall fat ass 1 inch will be fine, but your gonna have a hell of a time trying to push that shit through a 23g

I use 1.5 inch as well but have used 1 inch before too...they are fine!!

Depends on how lean yor ass is. I use 1" but I live at 6% if you wanna be safe use 1.5. a steril abcess can occur if oil gets between muscle and adipose tissue or skin.
