OK...history first...IN 2004 I had made some plans to hit Jr. Nationals as a lightweight (154pds) BUT needed to re-qualify so I did the Mr. Michigan (a national qualifier) as a middleweight. Jr's was 6 weeks after this show so I thought I would just do this show to stay on track. I didnt drop water for this so I just came in with the mind-set I NEED to peak for Jr's...and NOT this show.
WELL... I won my weight class (middleweights)...I weighed in at 169pds. BUT the following day I went into the gym to just do some cardio and stretch out a little. WELL a terrible pain hit my lower back. I had cracked the sacroiliac joint. BYE-BYE jr's....I later found out it was cracked for awhile and just about to give at any time. Anyways...I lost 9 months of my life with a cane. Iam fully recovered and back at the gym hard as ever...minus heavy squatting. I have just changed my routine...I am going to compete in 2007 so LOOK OUT! I will post more pics down the road...
WELL...here you go.....take it easy on me.
