2 weeks on, 2 weeks off

Anyone have any experience with a string of 2 week on, 2 week off cycles? I've read a couple of articles recommending this - sounded interesting, but not sure if that's a good idea.

Anyone with any experience on this kind of cycle?

The 2 week on 2 week off cycles are referring to the fat burning drug clenbuterol. It is not used for gaining muscle, its used for shedding fat. Do a search for bigandy69 clenbuterol faq.

A size gaining / steroid cycle, would not be effective going 2 weeks on 2 weeks off.

jones, don't jump to conclusions. He may be talking about juice, prolly a 17aa or suspension if he is, or clen.

It all depends on each person. For some maybe work, for others not. You have to know your body to determine if those techniques could have a good effect on your body.

Cycling every 2 weeks has it's place, but not for true muscle building. Cutting yes muscle building no. Your body has to be in a true anabolic state in order to build muscle tissue which can happen any time, thus you are better off riding it out for as long as you can once you reach the anabolic state! So I really believe longer cycles are better! Even as powerful as dbol is, I believe that the first gains are going to be primarily water thus you need injectables to solidify and build on the initial gains or else you will just gain and lose, gain and lose which is not ideal when building up!

I'm sorry guys, I'm retarded - it was 2 weeks on, 4 weeks off - here's a portion of the article, that should make the case.

"The advantage is that there's actually a two-stage process of inhibition. You have the hypothalamus and the pituitary. Between the two of them, the hypothalamus produces a hormone called LHRH, and that tells the pituitary to produce LH. LH tells the testicles to produce testosterone. Now, after two weeks, the pituitary actually isn't inhibited yet. In fact, it's sensitized. So it will put out more LH from LHRH during the first two weeks. If you stop at two weeks, the recovery is very, very fast. All you have to do is stop and when the hypothalamus produces LHRH, you're back in business, especially if you use Clomid. You'll get a very fast recovery. You'll be back to normal in less than a week. But, if you go beyond that two-week point, the pituitary also goes into a state of suppression. And from that point, it can take many weeks to get back to normal."

So, Bill Roberts makes the case, that cycling in this manner will allow you to add quality muscle in more measured cycles, and maintain it better.

i dont know about that sounds like it goes against the grain a little bit, but on paper it sounds good! what if you take hcg throught out your cycle that would help you recover quicker after even a longer cycle!

Supposedly it does help you recover quickly. I researched it some time back and even found a nice post here about it. I definitely plan on running HCG thought my next cycle.

I totally agree with this statement. Longer cycles are way better, I see some of these guys on here that make reference to one month or two month cycles. These cycles are pointless & weak in my opinion. If you want true strength and muscle gain, you need at lest three month. Why come off when you are just starting to put on size and gain strength???
