2 miles for cardio

I agree with CEO. Wait...what? :worried:

I have to disagree here. 10 miles a week is no where near overkill. Lets assume that you run a 6 min mile. That is 12 min of cardio. You barely have gotten your heart rate up by then. Even if you run a 9 min mile that is still only 18 minutes.

Yes but he is working everyday of the week then which is not going to be good for recovery or his CNS. Working out 3-4 times a week with cardio after would be my choice...

if your trying for wieght loss then I wouldn't think thats to much.. I agree with bblazer.. 2 miles a day is not a lot.. I think before anyone gives you advice they would have to know what your work out consist of and how hard you train. your not trying to build muscle right?

Yes, it would be good to know stats and goals.

Admittedly, I was in a hurry when I posted and it did/does sound like a lot, doing cardio and weight training 5 days a week.

Also, the OP said JOGGING, not running. He ain't jogging no 6 minute mile! Sounds more like a 30 minute jog to me.

So, stats and goals please?

LOL @ "barely getting your heart rate up" by running a 6 minute mile!!!

When I went to airborn we ran anywhere from 7-15 miles a day.. Talk about melting the fucking fat off. I went from 190 or so down to 154 lololol size 29 jeans to..

Well I'll never fit into that again. O well Big guys rule anyway.

I still have the jeans to. I have a hard time getting one leg into them.

I don't think 2 miles a day is too much I would personally start at 1 though. I used to run to the gym and back home which was 6 miles 4 to 5 days a week and it didn't effect me. Plus I would even sometimes from there jog to subway afterwards. I might even say it helped because at that time I was the strongest I have ever been and I still don't know how.
