2 hours a day?

Guys like Arnold and Franko worked out longer than this per day. What do you guys think? Currently I'm doing 1.5 hours/day 3 on 1 off. This is an off cycle routine.

10 views and nobody has an opinion?

I used to do 2 hours a day. I didn't make the gains I'm making now doing shorter workouts. I do extemely frequint training, but never go over 45 minutes. Arnold thrived on it. Its probably a combination of genetics, etremely high doses of d-bol, and the fact that he had not other job to deal with. Those things can cetainly allow for greater recovery ability.

like the saying goes...."you can train long" or "you can train intense" but you can't do both!

Thats true, but it seems that even 1.5 hours isn't enough to do 4 sets of 4 exercises (not including warm ups/dropsets). WTF, I mean I need a couple minutes to recover between sets.

??? 16 sets takes no time. How long are you taking between sets? I can do 16 sets in 30 minutes.

Really? Holy shit. I take probably 2 or 2.5 minutes between sets. If I don't rest long enough, my reps/weight suffers.

jubei, condition yourself to rest less between sets, and you'll eventually find that you don't need the longer breaks. I try to keep it under a minute. I train with alot of supersets, trisets and drop sets though.

I do alot of dropsets as well. I also start with the highest weight possible for 5-8 reps after a couple warm up sets.

Yeah, I love to do 5-5-5 rep drop sets to failure. That way each rep is near maximal tension, but you get the hormone release and depletion effects of doing a high rep set as well.
