Ok guys i'm clean been clean for atleast a month now still takin clomid at 50mgs for a day............ the other day i was doin hacksquats so far so good...... then i decided to do a set to failure and to my surprise i had a monstrous headche that must have lasted for atleast 15 minutes...... it was only sectioned into the back of my head...... it was a pulsing pain on the back of my head....... i had never gotten heaches b4 so this was a surprise...... now today i was doing back and on my first exercise T-bar rows..... i had the same headache.... i dunno what this is it scared the hell outta me.....maybe someone could help me out here... i am thinkin about takin day off from the gym and just relax to see if it gets better........anyone have anything like this ?

I've had this a few times too. It's probably high blood pressure or dehydration. Try taking some tylenol before hand and drinking plenty of water.

That sucks bro. I don't know what it is, but I think a day or two off from the gym might help a lot. I had similar problems while I was cycling test and d-bol (about 5 weeks into the d-bol). I figured it was blood-pressure related.

If you're not on anything right now other than clomid, I'd say take a couple days off and see if it goes away -- if it doesn't there might be some injury or illness involved. I know this doesn't help much, so bump for more info.....................

probably an exercise induced headace...try warming up really well before lifting

i have a friend who ruptured a blood vessel in his head and his symtoms where about the same as yours but worse. it may not be the case but be careful. asprin thins your blood if your BP is still high from your last cycle. maybe take a couple days off.

good luck

Throbbing headaches in enhanced BBs is suggestive of vascular origin, bad news. Avoid holding your breath at all. You should probably get your blood pressure checked, ideally right when you get the symptoms. Lots of guys have good BP when they aren't moving around 300#. I wrote a good article on ACE inhibitors, but now I think I like ACE blockers beter, if it is BP and you need a med.
If you've ever seen some guy who looks like the Incredible Hulk have the bar land on him before he died doing his warmup set, you'd know that cranial vascular problems aren't to be fucked around with. I hope it isn't the case. I'd advise you to make sure.

Thanks....

ok thanks for the reply guys......i seriously think it's either exercise induced or bp....... like i said i got this for the first time ever yesterday when i was doing hack squats........ i think it has to do with me either holding my breath or tensing the muscles in my neck when i was doing a set to failure........ cause i had this pain when i was doin a set to failure and i rember clenching my neck muscles........ LOL SEE THIS IS WHY I HATE LEGS....... i duno about today's headche when i was doing back..... but your right i will take 2 days off and then get back into the groove........ if it's BP it's a shocker cause even when i was on my heaviest aas cycle i never got it....... hopefully aspirin will help

Aspirin is a poor BP med. I've yet to find a double-blind peer reviewed study showing it has significant effects on BP in an athletic population. It reduces viscosity, not a major determinant of BP. If you know of evidence I don't, please show me, since I work with enhanced BBs.
The location suggests it might be myofascial. Lay on your back with your head over the edge while somebody supports your head with their fingertips where the skull meets the neck, while applying a slight pull (of your head away from your neck). This should give some relief to the symptoms, if myofascial, or just feel good.

Peace!

i've had this problem in the past. had an MRA done to scan the vessels in my head and everything. doctor told me it was probably a muscle strain at the base of my skull that caused the pain. he said the pulsating feeling could have been from it putting extra pressure on the blood vessel.

i just recently had the same thing happen again, every single time i lifted for like 3 and half weeks. then all of a sudden it went away.

if i were you though, i wouldn't piss around. i'd go to the doc in case. better safe than sorry.

fina_tprop_dbol,
if it's myofascial, what can be done to stop it? i would assume it would be due to the fascia constricting on the muscles (or rather the fascia being to tight to accomidate the muscle when filled with blood), or am i incorrect?
