1st time in mexico...what a story!

Look pal, i have been using gear probably a lot longer than you have. Why would I make up this shit. My wife had everything I couldnt fit in my pockets waiting for me to return. And it wasnt a "vet gear shop". I went to a vet and he called his brother who is , I guess you call a distributor to all of the vets. And I don't have to prove nothing to you or anyone else. I just thought I would share my first venture to mexico. It's no big fuckin deal. What has happened to this board? Everyone is always trying to turn on the other brother to make themselves look better "or bigger". I guess now all they have are punks on here.

Dude, I'm with you. I guess some feel obliged to berate you for you're 'ignorant' behaviour for the sake of upholding the board and the 'community' to higher standards, which I can understand to a degree.

I just want to add that things we do with a little risk and danger and walk out of are what adds to your life experiences, and are those moments you remember, not those times when everything was planned and consequences/benefits pondered on.

I've been a pretty addicted reader of this board for some time, and I've noted though many comments are truly helpful, there seems to be just as many re-hashes of info and dumb shit posted just for ppl to get their post #'s up and add those little yellow stars under their names.

Wow, I am surprised at everyones comments. Either you don't get out much or are just ignorant. If he went to Ireland would your comments have been, "oh my god, never ride with anyong Irish, you could be killed,, they are all drunks!" I could go on with examples but I won't. Mexican people are kind, helpfull, sincere and giving as a general rule. If your areugment is that he should not have traveled with someone (a businessman) he did not know, then he should never even ride in a taxi. If your arguement is the Mexicans are crooked, violent people then I pity you and those you come in contact with as your prejudice must be a burden. I am not saying there is never violence in Mex. but he was in a tourist town dealing with a business man with ties to the community. He was not in Gaud., or in Los Mochias, dealing with someone in an alley. Again, I am surprised by the prejudice. I would have hoped the quality of this board would be higher. If you wish to debate my views, please only open your hole if you have something of substance and experience to say. I spend a third of my year in Mex raveling as well as owning businesses there. I am a white male who would receive the same treatment most of you would there.

I'm with SpikeDog...........I've been in a LOT of foreign countries..........the guy took a chance yes, but...you can get roled here in the USA doing the samething. I don't look at Mexico as extra special on rolling people. I bet some of you guys call Arabs 'Sand Niggers'. I hate that shit.

i'm with spike dog.. if riding in a car with a strange mexican and pocket full of money is "crazy" or "bullshit" to you, then I kinda pity you. i've been lucky enough to do alot of travelling, have alot of interactions with foreigners, and alot of just plain old living. i don't see Jammin's story as being unbelievable at all. i'm guessing that 3/4 of the people on this thread that flamed live in a small town and have never been out of it... and there's nothing wrong with that. just don't go assuming that anything is impossible or crazy or bullshit simply because it isn't kosher or doesn't happen in your small little town. btw, i came from a small town so i know.

Extensive social and business dealing,,, traveling, etc. Lets hear about it! Perhaps the "not2big" part of you relates to your IQ, as it is obvious to me that it is not your mouth you are referring to. So, enlighten us "oh most widely travelled one" I am guessing you speak of something you know very little of. Rereading your post, i see now you think that business people routinely take paying customers to warehouses full of gay men to have sex. Next time take Mexico seriously---its not the states and when there never leave your woman alone. Ever. Forget about you disappearing, how would you feel if she disappeared. That shit happens more then most people think. You are not protected over there at all. Play it safe next time!
