1s cutting cycle advise!!

Hey guys,

Im 23 days into my 8 week var only cycle and im concerned that i havnt seen many gains so far. My weight has increased by 3 pounds, and i feel and in general i feel a little harder but apart from that not much else. The reason for my cycle was to cut up and shed some body fat , but i havnt seemed to notice any difference in that department at the moment. Im currently doing a 3 way split, monday, wednesday and thursday and then on the off days im doing my cardio and core. Im consuming about 1700 clean calories ed and also trying to limit my carbs.

My concern is i seem to be doing everything right but yet not seeing much of an improvement.

Any advise and help wud be much appreciated.

From personal experience I've always notice cutting results around the 6-8 week mark. Also I know I've read some stuff that it usually takes around 6 weeks to start noticing effects from a clean diet, however I don't remember where I read this so it could be wrong.

How much do you weigh? If your weight has increased it means you're eating too much.

1700 calories isn't much. My guess is that you are off on your calculation somewhere, because 1700 isn't very much.
 
My current weight is 11 stone!! As far as i know my calculations are right and i understand that 1700 calories is not much.
 
Up your cardio. 30 mins first thing on an empty stomach(take aminos/Bcaas) 30 mins post workout and 30 mins before bed. If your diet is really clean and you are having low carbs you will have to shed fat doing this
 
It's only been 23 days bro. If your weight has increased 3lbs and your only eating 1700 cals a day then there is a good chance you've actually dropped body fat/water while actually gaining a little lbm. 3 weeks is a short time so keep it in perspective and don't get discouraged. You see yourself every day and arn't gonna notice slight changes in your physique. The only true way to tell is to get the calipers out and test your BF % before/after. Good luck!

Thanks for the great advise guys, i did thinkaybe i was being impatient as im only 3 weeks in!! What fatburners do u mean nightmare?
