There was some music I liked in the '80s -- REM, Husker Du, The Replacements, Hoodoo Gurus, Midnight Oil, XTC; but the shit on the radio and MTV was the worst -- pop metal crap like Van Halen and Bon Jovi, hair metal tripe, synth pop, Madonna...
