18 guage for drawing???

Are 18 guage needles safe for drawing up your fluid or is getting rubber from the stopper in your syringe a serious problem? If I pay close attention and draw out of the vial a maximum of 7 times will it be cool?

I use 20ga. I have a ton of 18's but with either I still get goddamn chunks of rubber. Depends on the stopper quality. Some are tough as hell some are inferior quality.

What does 7 times have to do with anything?

7 times has to do with that, I assume anyway, the more you jab through the stopper the more it gets chewed up and the more chance of rubber falling through gets. So to use all of my 10ml vial I will only be going thru it 6 or 7 times as apposed to someone doing 75mg ed of 100mg/ml prop that would be going through the stopper 13 or 14 times.
So should I toss the 18 guage then?

if you dont have pins yet then order 20ga. if you allready have 18 ga then there is a trick but i cant really explain it and i suck at it anyways. You can even draw with 23ga for that matter. Make one hole and keep using it. Just be very careful. If you get a chunk, just shoot it back into the vial and draw again. If it becomes a regular thing then get some.45 whatman filters. I have found that when I order sterile vials from research companies, those are the ones I usually have problems with. The UG lab I get my gear from has great stoppers on their vials. never have any issues. Just always make sure you put that loaded barrel up under the light and roll it around and inspect it.

tryed 18g once and it was just way too large. it ruins stoppers and leaves chunks of rubber in the vial. 21g is what I use now.

I would use a 20g. It wont tear the stopper as easily as an 18g.

If you have a large jug such as a 50 or 100 then go lower like a 20 or 21 to keep from compromising the rubber as much.

Hmmm, interesting. I've used 18g and 20g and haven't had a problem with either. Just lucky I guess. Only using in 10ml vials

Thats ok. I think the problem most wonder about are plugs floating. But still at that there is absolutly no chance of drawing one in.

So is the issue with 18 guage needles that you get it in your vial or that you get it in the barrel and inject it into your body? And how unlikely is it that you could draw rubber stopper though the needle and then back out through a 23 or 25 guage into your body?

I have gotten lots of pieces of rubber in my barrel. You know what really pisses me off.....You draw 1ml of test E, then draw .5ml of deca and .5ml of tren in the same barrel.....then you end up with a fucking chunk of rubber stopper from the last draw:mad::mad::mad:

So when you switch your pin to a 23 or 25 guage then is it safe or will that piece jam that sh*t up? Or worse get into your body? WTF do you do if rubber gets in the barrel?

if your lucky you have some filters on hand. Otherwise you try to get as much as you can into another barrel by pulling the plunger out and squirting it in. But that never works well. In my case I just had to shoot it in the garbage can. Thats why you always get a little more gear than you need. If its just your test, then just shoot it back into the vial and re draw.

If you draw a piece of rubber into your syringe which was floating around inside the vial you are either a complete dumbass or you are Ray Charles. Give me a break. If one can't pay attention to what they are doing during this process then maybe running gear just isn't their game. Draw with a large pin then switch to a smaller one.
