17 hour flights...

This december I've got a 17 hour flight to Manila to visit my brother who is a professor of radiation oncology there. I'm already dreading this... Its tough for me to sit still for like an one hour, if I'm not working or studying, I like to pace back and forth. We are flying Northwest I think and am hoping an empty seat, but in December thats an impossibliity.

My question to anyone who is bored, is if you had to be stuck to someone in the next seat in business class, I got through frequent flyer milage, who would it be... Thats 17 hours, alot one can talk about... I am begging my folks to prescribe me some ambien to ease the trip. But would that person be an EF member you would like to get to know, or someone famous who you would like to plug their brain? Would it be someone hot whose pants you would like to get into... now I think I wish I had that pheromone shit in oceans's thirteen. Who would you pick a hottie or a genius, or celebrity, or just have sig. other? Please Discuss...

I did 23 hours recently, get yourself a digital movie player with a charger. I bought a Creative Zen 30 gig and loaded it up with audio books and movies.

it's really not that bad. business class is VERY tolerable. they got a ton of movies, the food is good etc.

ipod is a must, as well a good book. sleeping is better. if you have a psp or portable video game system it helps (my gamegear when i was young was my savior)

the worst was going to japan on coach..but every other 10+ hour trip i've taken has been business class.

I loath flying. I dry heave everytime. I only heave because I'm smart enough to know not to eat before I fly. I don't get airsick . Its caused by shear terror . I puke out of fear.

And when I see celebs, whether on a plan or not, I just leave them alone. I'm sure they get tired of peeps bugging them.

23 hours is ridiculuous... business is not bad at all, and the stuartess's are much hotter... if I had to fantasize though it would be Eliza Dushku, dunno why, thats the chic I got on my dome... it was between someone dropping knowledge on me, and someone I have no shot with, but for 17 hours would like to throw my uber limited game at... Yeah, though I'm pretty sure after one hour and realizing I have no shot I'd just take an ambien and knock out...

yup, ipod, books, and it might be nice to buy an alcoholic drink on the flight. (In monderation you don't wana be hung over when you land, or half way in your flight) I don't mind traveling but 17 hours of flying, lay overs or not is a lot.

If I could pick someone to fly next to it would be, a pro body builder like Markus Ruhl (but they might take up a lot of space) a close friend, or some cute girl I could join the mile high club with.
