16-20 weeks cycles worth a shit ?

My friend just finished a 10 weeks cutting cycle which was:

WK1-10 sust 500mg
WK7-10 tren 150mg eod

Along with Femara, Clen/ECA/T3 doing shit load of cardio and eating 1700 cals a day.

He's not content with the results. He was 17% BF and is now at week 9 still 12.5% BF. Anyway, since he's not content with the results (lost just several pounds of fat but gained nothing with fina/test) I was wondering if extending (or more accurately changing) the cycle from 10weeks to 18 weeks alternating to Bulking with a-bombs, enathate & eq can lead to an increase in muscle mass for him (he's only looking for 10 pounds or so of leanmass).

Thing is, I heard that over 10 weeks cycles (even if you change everything, like all roids) is almost useless and you can gain almost nothing (Except for really awasomely genetically gifted guys)

What is his bodyweight now compared to when he started?....If he went from 17 to 12.5 and is the same bodyweight then he made gains....
 
no of course he lost total weight. I meant he didn't loose LBM. He did lost fat. So his total weight is down, while LBM is the same.

Suggestions?
 
personally, i would but the sustanon dosage to 250mg once a week.

sustanon at 500mg a week i think is slightly too high for a cutting cycle.
