I cant believe a year has gone by already, time goes by so very quickly now with each year i get older.
I remember a year ago as the first planes struck, the north and south towers, i was standing in this guy's house who unfortunately had died, we were there as nobody had seen him for a while, so we had to break in and we found him.
for some reason while we were waiting for the undertakers to arrive and remove his body we turned the television on, don't know why something, a feeling or an urge just made us turn it on.
I couldn't believe my eyes it was so unreal, the first plane hitting, could it be an accident? but then the second hit as i was watching and you knew straight away this was an act of a terrorist. i couldn't believe it. anyway as we got back to the station, i again turned on a tv. and then the towers began to collapse. i was just blown away. i didn't know what to think or feel other than anger at the people responsible, then a feeling of we must do everything to make these people pay, big time. i was just numb. So many people lost their lives, people from 36 different countries, 120 British people, and so many Americans.
These people have and will continue to pay for these cowardly acts, be sure of that.
BRITAIN AND AMERICA, SIDE BY SIDE, ONCE AGAIN AND FOREVER
UNITED WE STAND, DIVIDED WE FALL.....
Rest in eternal peace.
