10 weeks into 12 week cycle - cholesterol concerns

here is my cycle

wk 1-12 250mg test(e) every 5 days
wk 8-10 125mg Deca every 5 days


I am at the 10 week interval and just had cholesterol checked. I know it is not good to do during cycle but it was low to begin with so just wanted to keep an eye on it... here are my numbers...

total - 174
hdl - 22
ldl - 139
c:hdl-c ratio - 8.1

Should I be concerned? The hdl ideally should be around 40. Is this mainly due to the test or the deca? I am going to start adding fish oil and niacin to my diet.
 
dont sweat it
within a month or two, you will be back into normal range, when your off

u can take supllements to help but dont worry

this is the problem with staying on all the time, poor cholesterol levels for extended periods of time leads to some risk for heart issues

that is nice to hear... its my 1st cycle and hopefully I can retain enough gains to not have to do another... even though i love the results...
 
that's part of the game dude.... you should be concerned however if you already have issues with cholesterol and/or heart disease...most A A S and even A I's will wreak havoc on your lipids and liver values.... in any case, you should always take precautions during a cycle as well as after (Fish Oil/EFA's, niacin, sesamin, r-ALA, red yeast rice, etc)

That's funny, somebody only ever doing one cycle.
 
So far it is only hurting your HDL. Could be the liquidex you got a month back...if you are running it that is. This is why high carb low fat "clean diets" while on gear are stupid. That in itself can wreck your lipid profile. Don't just take the normal couple caps a day of fish oil....take 4-6 every meal. Have a little more fat with each meal, besides pre and post workout, and cut back a little on high GI carbs except for pre and post workout. Almonds, avocado, olive oil, fish oil, etc. The closer you get to 40/30/30 the better that HDL will look. It may help a little with the aforementioned bloat problem too.
