How tall are you bro? Maybe that will help clear up some of the confusion.
If you are 6'1 or 6'2 or so, then I can see how that was 35 lbs, and assuming you are at least 6'0, then I think the progress was substantial and solid..
And this comment I'm about to make may be somewhat controversial, but fuck it..

They prescribe AAS to AIDS patients to prevent muscle wasting, and to victims of accidents who are layed up in the hospital for months to help them gain back some of their weight... obviously the man was underweight, so I don't see anything wrong with him having taken gear (assuming he trained and ate).. sure there are drawbacks, and I do disagree with the amount he took (I think he should of been able to make those gains with just testosterone alone really).
But in this case, the man says he feels much better now that he has a base and if that is what was needed for him psychologically to attain the motiviation to devleop a new lifestyle, then I say it was well worth it; sure, I wish he could have attained that motivation without having to have done a cycle, but oh well, to each his own.
Assuming you are around 6'1 bro, then I say you made great progress, although I think you could have attained the same gains in at least 9 months with natural training (if you know how to eat and train that is) - so you got it in 1/3 the time and props to you. But now that you got your foundation, if you keep going then lets see what progress you can make naturally over the next 9 months and see if you can't go up another 20 pounds (which you absolutely should be able to do if you are dedicated enough and don't have a hyperthyroid). Use all this bashing from these guys as motivation to prove everyone of them wrong, and then come back on this forum and say, "remember me, now this is how much progress I've made naturally in 9 months.. oh, and btw, all you flamers can suck my left nut." But just keep with it bro.. natural at first is slow but sure.. you should be able to get up to 210 completely natural here on out within two years no probs if you train and diet consistently with dedication.
