This guy at my gym is in the top 20 in the usa in his weight class. He frequently does 10 sets of 2 reps with a relatively light weight (for him anyway). He's using a weight that he can get for 20 reps. He does his 10 sets of 2 with about 30 seconds between. Has anyone here tried this? Did you get results?
 
I've used something similar in the past. It works quite well, it is similar to GVT but it is for power more so then hypertrophy. I don;t know how lite a weight this guy uses, but I was using 75 -85% of my max weight.
 
Oh just realiazed what you mentioned about the 30 seconds rest. I'm guessing it is still similar to what I was doing, as it still has to work the nervous system. Looks like I have some research to do now.
