10/14 Me Deadlift PR !!!

Had a good feeling going into today's workout.

Deadlifts
135x3, 225x3, 315x3, 365x1, 405x1, 455x1 ( PR ! ), 500x0 ( miss, watch the vid, i could taste it )

Zercher Squats
135x8, 225x6x2 sets

Good Mornings
135x8, 225x6x2 sets

Decline Situps w/ 35 lb plate
2x8

im happy for getting a pr and all, but i missed 500 by so little it pisses me off. I was talking to Hammer and figured i coulda hit 475, but really wanted the 500 club. Next 1rm wont be for atleast 2 months...

o btw right click and save target as please...

You need Chucks...or go barefoot!!!

Ever think about getting a good pling belt?

You could have possibly gutted out that 500...maybe not without making it look ugly...lol...but you were close. Your butt came up pretty early, remember to push those hips THROUGH on the lockout!!!!

thx guys, i cant spread my green around enough for you guys on this board.

Ive wathced that 500 attempt about 50 times already, its killing me knowing how close i was. Ill be doing some rack pulls from below knee, it seems right around that point i hit the wall.
 
Hey bro you seem to be very strong in the lower body movements. Great PR, great form and 500 is definetely getting owned soon

I am thinking of a steady diet of;

Reverse Hypers
Reverse Band Deadlifts (if you can)/Rack lockouts (like u said)
Dimel Deadlifts
Good Mornings

Thse things can all help build your confidence to smash through that barrier as well as maximal strength. The more I watch your video the more I realize that you have it in you whenever you want it. Just give your body some time to heal up, recover, and get stronger and more powerful before you take 500's heart away.

thanks bro, seeing your vid doing 700+ was insane, i cant wait till i get up there.

i tried to get it, but i felt a lot of pressure in my lower back and didnt want to risk any injury. thats where the whole arms up in the air came from

how much do a pair of chucks cost?? I have a decent belt right now, it was cheap which was a big plus for me being in college and all.

i have a set of light bands and mini bands. do u have a vid of dimel deads??
