1 cycle a year

Is it very damaging to your health if you do:

1 cycle a year with one our two compounds and relative low dose.
example: 8 weeks 500 mg test ew/8 weeks 400 mg deca ew

(im 35 year, 90 kilos, have done 2 cycles last year)

im thinking long term sides....

1 cycle a year.. unless you have natural health issues, i doubt you'd have any long term sides. might mess with your cholesterol and blood pressure a bit.. but probably not even a noticeable amount. then again i'm not a scientist, so i dont know anything for sure.

looks like we took english class at the same place :D looks like some of my threads :D

I think very healthy. I remember Bill PHillips saying people should do one cycle of deca a year for health. But that was back in his hard core days..

I mean shit it keeps the old guys healthy.
It keeps the HIV guys healthier.

I remember someone on here either being a doc or knowing one that always ran a 10 weeker of low dose test and some highly anabolic AAS strictly for health reasons. Like it made him feel better or some crap. He wouldn't lift or eat any different and would end up gaining like 5lbs of muscle per year.

It might of been a different board.

that would be just fine. actually a smart way to cycle.

I've done one 52 week cycle every year of similar amounts(sometimes more) to what you're talking about for 15 years and I'm still kickin'. LOL!!!

Does this mean what I think it means, cuz it makes me feel a lot better!

and somewhere there's a guy whose parachute didn't open but still survived...don't mean it's a good idea. After the woman and I have some little ones I'm going to do 300-500mg year round - an HRT dose of test and primo.....just keeping it slow, steady and safe..

if it were me i'd go with either e.q. or primo with sustanon 250 twice a week.
wouldn't be a bad idea to have a good bit of hcg around if you were to want to start 500iu inj. every 5 days after about 6 weeks in. i hope that this would not hurt at all but everbody is different. just keep the hcg in mind if you feel you're starting to shut down.

For the record, I know quite a few guys that have mega dosed 3000mgs+ yr round for 20+ yrs and they're still kickin too-and all of them look 10 yrs younger than they are. I'm not saying we're pictures of health by any means, I'm just trying to let the poster know his paranoia should be minimal at best for what he's talking about. Could I die tomorrow? You betcha! But growing up I never expected to live past age 30 anyway. Every day after has been a gift. I had a pretty crazy life. I've been shot at numerous times and as a bouncer I had bottles busted over my head. I was bitten in the leg by some inbred and I've had billiard balls thrown at me. I've logged over 200K miles on sportbikes without an accident, and I regularly do 150mph+ down the freeway. I still worry more about dying on my bikes more than dying from gear.

god damn BC u hard core my man, and i agree, not a whole lot to worry about, prob got to worry about lighting strikes more than one cycle a year

During the first 1 1/2 year at the darkside i found out that if i dont make some rules regarding AS things will go crazy...i mean i started out with the typical "only wanna do one cycle"-attitude..and then all of a sudden i was into test, dbol, tren, primo, anavar and on and on.....I gained alot, man ! But then during 1/2 years i got foodpoisening 2 times and nearly lost all.....So i was like all these drugs and putting my body in danger for NOTHING......That made me consider the whole thing with as.

I came to the conclusion that i would like to be able to enjoy the moment. Also when im 75....So i decided that my limit would be 1 short cycle (6-8 weeks) a year IF it wont put my health in danger...also after 10 years and 10 cycles.....i know we cannot predict the future but if we can control things that can affect our lives in a positive or negative way we should be in the control seat.

I had the "I'm only gonna do one cycle"-attitude too-and it lasted 15 yrs. After my 3rd week of dbol and Sus I was hooked. I did my 1st novice show 1 yr later at age 22 and got 2nd place. The guy that beat me was 33 and had been working out for way longer than I had. After that I was bound and determined to turn pro. I did pretty good in the midwest but when I moved out West I got a reality check. After a couple brutal assbeatings on stage I fine tuned my diet and won the hwt and overall AAU Mr Arizona. I won the Phoenix NPC City Championship that year too. A year later I got 2nd in my class in the Western Regional-but felt cheated when Musclemag interviewed the guy that beat me before pre judging even started. Later I found out that the guy that beat me was a close personal friend of the show's promoter-who also happened to be the head judge. WTF? I did a couple of Cali shows and placed 3rd in The Border States and 5th in The OC. After awhile I started questioning my sanity for putting my future in the hands of the judges. I already owned a biz that made me more $$$ than most pro bb's make so I said fuck it. The glory among such a small cult following just wasn't worth the risks. I'm still hooked on the BB lifestyle, and I'll likely use AS the rest of my life-however short or long that may be? People in my family die early. My mother died at 57, my father died at 63-leaving me with no living relatives to miss me if I die anyway. I don't have a wife or kids, so whatever happens to me happens. In retrospect, I've lived a dream that many guys have that never will come to fruition. Maybe someday my attitude will change if I marry or have kids, but more than likely that's when my # will come up and I'll croak. My life has been no picnic. I was abused as a child and told that I'd never amount to anything. I'm just glad I never ended up in prison or dead already. What really trips me out is the fact that I've aleady outlived a handful of people that I graduated high school with. A few died in car crashes, a couple commited suicide, and couple more died of lifestyle related health complications. One of them was even a pro baseball player-and he never took roids-just drank a lot of beer and ate whatever he wanted. Sorry for the thread jack-too much Red Bull this AM.

Amazing the great stories, opinions, and experiences posted on this board from a simple post. I like and agree with extra strong's comments:

I mean shit it keeps the old guys healthy.
It keeps the HIV guys healthier.

some guys go crazy the first 2-3 years on the darkside...wouldn't be better to for example do 1 simple cycle every year for 20 years than 10-15 cycles in 3 years ???
