When I get home from work at 11pm I like to wind down with some smoke.

I roll about 1/2g and share it with my companion. I do this almost on a daily basis...

Any problems in doing so?

Absolutely not my friend.

If anything, I'd say it helps you and your partner. After a hard days' work... sparking up at 11:00 to take a load off and just relax, and it definately helps you fall to sleep. Unlike alcohol there is no hangover, or any repurcussion for your smoking in the morning.

Therefore, I don't see any problem with your smoking at all. It won't negatively effect your training... certainly won't have health issues because of it... I really can't think of any... except Johnny Law.

cool...

People say you can get gyno from it???

Oh well...

I think it being illegal is fun, heheh.

If it was legal it would be too easy to get. You will lose the fun out of it.

Smoking pot does increase estrogen level... but, if you're gonna get gyno, you're going to get it regardless if you smoke a joint a night or not.

I've been a daily smoker for the past 3 years now... I've done 2 cycles, and just started my 3rd last Wednesday... I've never had any problems with it.

Haha-:doublefi:

You're obviously not one who has been unable to score any for weeks upon weeks. Oh yeah, that'd be me.

Jeez, when I first looked at this thread I thought it said "1/2oz weed/night" lol THAT would be impressive. :D

I don't really see the point in smoking up everyday, but whatever floats your boat. :)

sounds about like getting drunk every night would it even be fun if you did it EVERY DAY?

i think u have a problem

I would disagree with that statement. There are a LOT of people that come home from what they call a hard day of work and have a drink or two to calm down, or have a glass of wine with dinner.

For me, after getting up at 5:00am, going to the gym, then heading off to work all day, then coming to to spend time with my kid and doing home stuff I am a ball of stress. I will light up a bowl or a j and get "high" not shit ass stoned, big difference (I do that on the weekends). It helps me mello out (on cycle it is key to me), helps me sleep, and has no side effects. It really helps with the pains etc from training and the joint pains etc from gear. Without it, I would be doing some harsh medication that could fuck me up.

I dont think he has a problem at all, it could be a lot worse and in more cases than not, what he is doing is ectually helping him with training. Also, if he is bulking, it help him eat more and sleep. Shit, thats what it is all about, eating and sleeping and training!

Just my two cents for what it is worth.

I beg to differ. It does increase E levels, however, not nearly enough to cause gyno in 99% of smokers since it doesn't directly stimulate the E receptors, but rather those that are influenced by E.

Cannabinoid ligand-receptor signaling in the mouse uterus.

Using RNA (Northern) blot hybridization and reverse transcription-PCR, we demonstrate that the brain-type cannabinoid receptor (CB1-R) mRNA, but not the spleen-type cannabinoid receptor (CB2-R) mRNA, is expressed in the mouse uterus and that this organ has the capacity to synthesize the putative endogenous cannabinoid ligand, anandamide (arachidonylethanolamide). The psychoactive cannabinoid component of marijuana--delta 9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC)--or anandamide, but not the inactive and nonpsychoactive cannabidiol (CBD), inhibited forskolin-stimulated cyclic AMP formation in the mouse uterus, which was prevented by pertussis toxin pretreatment. These results suggest that uterine CB1-R is coupled to inhibitory guanine nucleotide-binding protein and is biologically active. Autoradiographic studies identified ligand binding sites ([3H]anandamide) in the uterine epithelium and stromal cells, suggesting that these cells are perhaps the targets for cannabinoid action. Scatchard analysis of the binding of [3H]WIN 55212-2, another cannabinoid receptor ligand, showed a single class of high-affinity binding sites in the endometrium with an apparent Kd of 2.4 nM and Bmax of 5.4 x 10(9) molecules per mg of protein. The gene encoding lactoferrin is an estrogen-responsive gene in the mouse uterus that was rapidly and transiently up-regulated by THC, but not by CBD, in ovariectomized mice in the absence of ovarian steroids. This effect, unlike that of 17 beta-estradiol (E2), was not influenced by a pure antiestrogen, ICI 182780, suggesting that the THC-induced uterine lactoferrin gene expression does not involve estrogen receptors. We propose that the uterus is a new target for cannabinoid ligand-receptor signaling.
